About Us
What is Platinum Service? It's our promise to do unto others better than they could have ever imagined. At Pathfinder Hospitality, hospitality is not just in our name, it is in our DNA. We live, breathe, and even dream Platinum Service.
We have an infinite mindset. We want to have such a strong culture and deep sense of purpose that Pathfinder far outlasts its founders and processes, decades after we are gone. Our core values are our guiding principles.
Accountability · Collaboration · Empowerment · Engagement · Innovation · Integrity · Passion · Transparency
Culture and Values
We continuously break the mold, always going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our employees and guests through our commitment to our purpose â providing platinum service to our guests.
Skills can be learned, but passion can't be taught. If you believe in platinum service and thrive on exceeding expectations, we want to talk to you.
About the Role
The Lite Controller is the financial backbone of Pathfinder Hospitality's multi-property portfolio. This is not a traditional controller role. You will function as a strategic finance partner â producing accurate, timely reporting while actively teaching property leaders how to interpret financials, identify waste, and make better business decisions. You think in ROI, operate with a Zero-Based Budget mindset every day of the year, and hold yourself and others to a standard of business value creation, not just compliance.
You will oversee one Junior Accountant and work in close partnership with General Managers across all properties and the CFO.
Top Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting Excellence Deliver detailed, accurate Profit and Loss Statements for all properties and business units by the 15th of each month. All major financial reports are reviewed by at least two people before distribution, with a target accuracy of ±1%. Consolidate financial data across all hotels for company-wide reporting and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. GM Financial Partnership & Teaching Serve as the primary financial resource for General Managers across all properties. Teach GMs how to interpret financial statements, identify operational waste in both dollars and time, and take ownership of their property's financial performance. You don't just report the numbers â you make sure the right people understand them and act on them.
3. Zero-Based Budget Mindset & ROI Analysis Lead budgeting and forecasting with a continuous zero-based mindset â evaluating whether every service and expenditure is still relevant, negotiating for better value, and recommending alternatives. Provide clear ROI analysis to support operating decisions throughout the year, not just during budget season. Monitor actual performance against budget and deliver variance analysis that drives action.
4. Full-Cycle Accounting Oversight Own the full accounting cycle across all properties, including AP/AR, payroll, cash flow management, and internal controls. Build and maintain balance sheets and cash flow statements from the ground up. Oversee and develop the Junior Accountant, reviewing their work and ensuring accuracy before submission.
5. Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness Implement and maintain internal controls that safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Coordinate with external CPA partners on income tax filings and depreciation schedules. Conduct periodic audits of financial processes.
6. Asset Management Support Support CFO on asset management functions including property insurance policy evaluation and negotiation, property tax strategy and protests, pro forma creation for existing and prospective properties, and lender relationship oversight when applicable. Leverage ROI analytics and market data to inform recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
What We're Not Looking For
Someone who waits to be told what to look at. Someone who sends a report without knowing what it means for the business. Someone who treats budgeting as an annual event. If that's your style, this role will frustrate you â and you'll frustrate us.

By utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP), it allows non-technical users to ask complex questionsâsuch as inquiries regarding deal progression, account distribution, and revenue attainmentâand receive instant, data-driven answers without ever having to write a line of SQL. With its state-of-the art Semantic Layer, this revolutionary product aims to move organizations away from "Steward-heavy" manual workflows and toward Self-Service Analytics without compromising on the reliability and accuracy of their reports, thus providing true Business intelligence.
The Capstone Project

At OakNorth, weâre on a mission to empower the UKâs most ambitious businesses. Since 2015, weâve lent over $21 billion across the UK and US, helped create more than 58,000 new homes and 36,000 new jobs, and supported hundreds of thousands of personal savers â all while fuelling the UK economy.
Team Mission ð
We power OakNorth's relationshipâled lending with modern, modular tools across origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
\nAbout Us
Weâre OakNorth Bank and we embolden entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions, understand their markets, and apply data intelligence to everyday decisions to scale successfully at pace.
Banking should be barrier-free. Itâs a belief at our very core, inspired by our entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the unmet financial needs of millions, and delivered by our data-driven tools.
And for those who love helping businesses thrive? Our savings accounts help diversify the high street and create new jobs, all while earning savers some of the highest interest on the market.
But we go beyond finance, to empower our people, encourage professional growth and create an environment where everyone can thrive. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves and succeed.
Our story
OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ânoâ. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer â and it was broken.
Why was it so difficult for a profitable business with impressive cashflow, retained clients, and clear commercial success to get a loan?
The industry was backward-looking and too focused on historic financials, rather than future potential.
So, what if there was a bank, founded by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs? One that offered a dramatically better borrowing experience for businesses?
No more what ifs, OakNorth Bank exists.

ð Hi, Iâm Kat, Head of Partnerships at Ashby. I joined the team in 2024 to develop and lead our Partnership ecosystem. From the start, I was responsible for setting strategy and executing; the 0 to 1 work that a serial startup marketer like me loves. The through-line in my career is âdoing things that have never been done beforeâ, which is what drew me to Ashby. The work here looks different than at most companies. We have strong buy-in for partnerships within the organization. This has allowed me to focus on building key programs like Ashby Experts, our integration directory, community partnerships that provide air cover to our sales teams, and partner activations like the SF Giantâs game for Ashby One.
As the business scales, itâs time for me to give away my legos. One of the projects Iâve fully owned since the beginning is our VC Partnerships. The startup ecosystem is an anchor of Ashbyâs growth. Our goal is to make Ashby the default ATS for venture-backed startups by embedding deeply into the VC talent ecosystem, driving trust, preference, and repeatable startup pipeline. Itâs led me to forming deep relationships with VC Talent at firms like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Craft, and hosting our inaugural VC Talent Summit. Now itâs time to think bigger.
The Principal, VC & Startup Ecosystem Lead role is an opportunity for someone to come in and own partnerships across three key pillars: VC Talent, Startups, and Accelerators. Iâm looking for someone whoâs excited about being the face of this community and building programming that serves founders and VC Talent. Taking what Iâve started and 10xâing it to increase the impact. Youâll immediately own our startup partnerships, making sure weâre connected with the right firms, running campaigns with Demand Gen to target portfolio companies, building relationships with accelerators to develop programming for founders, and running an event strategy to co-host meetups with top VC firms.
What youâll be responsible for in this role:
Over the next 12 months, youâll be responsible for:
1. Deepening Ashbyâs VC Talent Partner community & programming. Youâll own our annual VC Talent Partner Summit, taking our format and making it even better next year. Youâll develop programming that builds trusted relationships with top Talent Partners, create content, events, and touch points that invest in Talent Partners and become a known, trusted advisor in the community.
2. Extending Ashbyâs startup ecosystem. Youâll design events that bring together founders and first recruiters, turning community moments into long-term relationships, and make Ashby the default hiring tool in a founderâs stack.
3. Building our Accelerator GTM motion. Youâll build relationships with Accelerators and design programming that increases adoption across early-stage companies. Making accelerators a clear part of Ashbyâs startup success.
You Will Probably Love This Role Ifâ¦
Youâve worked closely with VC Talent Partners and understand their roles in the venture ecosystem.
You thrive off of a high-ownership, high trust environment and enjoy putting strategy together and then running at it to execute.
You love designing event programming with partners and know what a startup founder values.
You lead with curiosity and kindness, and have mastered the art of turning ânoâsâ into a positive experience for others.
Youâre an exceptional communicator and writer, with a strong executive presence.
You enjoy being a host, leading conversations and are known for building long-term relationships.
Youâre excited by the idea of building something new and meaningful for the startup community.
This Role Is Not a Fit Ifâ¦
Youâre uncomfortable with autonomy or working independently. Our team culture is primarily asynchronous and high-ownership. Meaning youâre responsible for setting deadlines and moving work forward.
Youâre not used to working with urgency. We value forward momentum and high output, and believe itâs a competitive advantage to out-execute others.
You love founders, but prefer to be in the background. This role requires you to lead conversations with executive audiences and be comfortable speaking as a subject matter expert in front of big rooms.
For whatever reason, travel is hard for you. VCs are located in SF and NYC, and the events youâll be hosting will be there or at conferences. This role is best suited for someone who gets energy from being on the road.
Youâre not detail oriented. We have an incredible Event Ops team, but this role requires you to sweat the details on your programs with full ownership over them.Â
Interview Process
At Ashby, we design our interview process to help you show your best self. Hereâs what to expect:
30-minute intro call â intro call with Michelle (Recruiter) to learn more about the role and share a bit about your experience and how youâd want to approach this role.
45-minute interview with me (Kat, Hiring Manager) â Weâll dive into past projects and discuss your approach to partner enablement.
30-minute interview with Harriet, (VP, Marketing) to dig into Operating Principles and business acumen.
Assignment â Youâll complete a written take-home assignment.
Virtual Onsite (2 hours) â Youâll meet with team members across marketing, events, and leadership.
Benefits
Competitive salary and equity.
Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.
10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldnât feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby âdo it when you feel financially comfortable.
Unlimited PTO with four weeks recommended per year. Expect âVacation?â in our one-on-one agenda until you start taking it ð .
Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US. We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise.
Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive!
$100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval.
If youâre in the US, top-notch health insurance for you and your dependents with all premiums covered by us.
Ashbyâs success hinges on hiring great people and creating an environment where we can be happy, feel challenged, and do our best work. Weâre being deliberate about building that environment from the ground up. I hope that excites you enough to apply.
Apply Now

Blazestack is advancing mission-critical software used by public safety agencies operating in high-trust, high-stakes environments. This role contributes to a scalable, AWS-native platform that combines Go-based backend services with responsive React/TypeScript UIs, AI-assisted tooling, and secure data handling. The project emphasizes real-world impact: trusted software that investigators rely on in the field, built with modern cloud-native architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and strict security/compliance requirements. You will shape system architecture, drive feature delivery end-to-end, and collaborate in a remote-first, fast-moving team to deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for frontline professionals.
Applications are only received at getonbrd.com.
We're looking for engineers at a Senior (L5) to Staff (L6) level equivalent to FAANG standards. In particular, we’re seeking a senior full-stack engineer who can deliver production-grade software end-to-end. You should have demonstrable experience shipping full-stack web applications in production environments, fluency with Go, React, TypeScript, Playwright, Github Workflows, AWS-based architectures, and a track record of taking ownership of features from design through deployment. In your application, specify your experience with each of the aforementioned technologies.
Ability to design and maintain isolated test environments, provisioning test suites that cover end-to-end scenarios and edge cases. You’ll build production UIs and extend or adapt them as needed. Practice test-driven development, write clean, well-factored code, and craft interfaces that feel intuitive to real users. A passion for UX, clarity, and delivering robust software in high-stakes settings is essential. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment and value shipping right the first time, with an eye toward maintainability and long-term viability.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, experience with Material UI, accessibility and responsive design familiarity with data modeling for complex investigations, and a mindset geared toward user-centered design. Prior experience in public-safety or similar high-trust domains is a plus. Comfortable working across product and engineering leadership to drive outcomes, and capable of balancing speed with quality and long-term maintainability.

Both TLDR Crypto writers both work at Coinbase, TLDR Dev is written by engineers from DeepMind and Meta, TLDR AI is written by researchers from Anthropic and Adobe. In this role, you will:
Own and drive high-priority initiatives end-to-end across any function. Scope deliverables, set milestones, manage dependencies across teams, and hold stakeholders accountable to timelines and quality standards.
Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses and action plans. You're the person who builds the model, frames the trade-offs, and delivers a recommendation.
Help design and run the company's operating cadences â reporting cycles, planning processes, review rhythms. Identify where process is missing or breaking and stand up lightweight systems before problems compound.
Act as the connective tissue between the CEO, functional leads, and execution teams, ensuring outcomes are measurable and repeatable.
Maintain shared sources of truth â partner with functional owners to investigate discrepancies, validate data definitions, and build playbooks and institutional documentation that reduce key-person risk.
In your first 6 months, you will:
Own 2â3 cross-functional initiatives from scoping through delivery
Build or improve at least one recurring operational cadence (planning cycle, metrics reporting, or review process) that the team adopts and relies on
Deliver an analysis that directly informs a major strategic decision
Earn trust as the person leadership turns to when something important needs to get done well and fast
Key outcomes you'll be measured on:
Execution velocity and quality â initiatives move to completion on time, with analytically rigorous outputs that leadership acts on without heavy rework
Operational scalability â the cadences, documentation, and systems you build help the company reach alignment faster
5â7+ years in business operations, finance, or management consulting, with at 2 years in a cross-functional ops or chief-of-staff-type role at a high-growth company preferred
Experience in a hyper-growth environment â you've operated where structure was being built, not inherited.
Analytically rigorous â you are a first-principles thinker, you build models, trackers, and analyses from scratch, not just operate within existing frameworks. Advanced spreadsheets minimum; SQL or BI tools a plus
Effective cross-functional operator â you will be doing the work and driving execution across teams you don't directly control, without creating friction.
Strong communicator â you translate complex analysis into clear, exec-ready outputs, written and verbal
Nice to haves:
MBA or equivalent analytical training
Experience with CRM/RevOps systems (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Exposure to media, advertising, or newsletter business models
AI/automation proficiency for workflow optimization
Spot problems worth solving and start on them without waiting for direction
Drive decisions forward instead of adding meetings and status updates
Are energized by shipping, not just advising
Move fluidly across functional areas and enjoy the variety
Do your best work in lean environments and enjoy building systems from scratch
Have operated somewhere you owned the output, not just the recommendation
ð¤Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000

ð¤Team Events: Annual team offsite. Tell us where we should go next!

At OpenAI, we believe artificial intelligence has the potential to help people solve immense global challenges, and we want the upside of AI to be widely shared. Join us in shaping the future of technology.
HealthMatch connects patients with clinical trials. 80% of trials are delayed because they can't find enough participants â we're closing that gap with technology. We have over 2M patients in our database and a lean team of fewer than 20 building something that matters.
HealthMatch works with sponsors and clinical trial sites to recruit and enroll participants into studies. This role is the human link in that chain. You're the person sites hear from when referrals come in. You're the person patients talk to when they're considering a trial. You're the reason referrals turn into enrollments instead of going cold.
Day to day, you'll manage relationships with dozens of trial sites across LatAm and US markets, follow up with patients, keep our CRM accurate, and be trained to review medical records alongside our Medical Director. The work is phone-heavy, email-heavy, and detail-heavy.
Over time, we want you to do more than execute â we want you to spot what's broken and help fix it. If you notice a follow-up workflow that could be automated, or a site engagement pattern that should become a playbook, we want you to raise it and help build it.
Most weeks, the majority of your time is outbound communication:
Calling and emailing clinical trial sites to make sure patient referrals are being followed up on
Tracking referral statuses across our portal and CRM - this means real-time data entry, not batch updates at the end of the week
Supporting patients directly as they move through enrollment
Flagging sites that aren't engaging and working with the team on how to re-engage them
Helping onboard new sites to the HealthMatch platform
Some weeks will also include:
Working with our Medical Director on medical record reviews (you'll be trained on this)
Building or refining parts of our site engagement playbook based on what you're learning in real conversations
Jumping into other company needs as they come up - we're a small team and the edges of everyone's role are blurry
You must be fluent in both Spanish and English. This is non-negotiable - you'll be working across US and LatAm markets daily.
You're great on the phone. Not in a scripted, call-center way. You build trust quickly with site coordinators and patients, you're comfortable with follow-up that feels repetitive, and you understand that strong relationships are what make the repetition bearable. The better your relationships get, the more the job opens up.
You're organized under volume. You'll be managing dozens of site relationships simultaneously. Dropping a follow-up means a patient might not get into a trial. You need a system, whether that's meticulous CRM hygiene, your own tracking spreadsheet, or something else, and the discipline to maintain it.
You have at least 2 years of professional experience. We're less concerned about where and more concerned that you've worked in a fast-paced, accountable environment before. Experience at a clinical research site or a background in health/science is a plus, it'll shorten your ramp, but it's not required.
You're resourceful. When something is inefficient, you'd rather figure out a fix than complain about it. That might mean building yourself a dashboard, learning a new tool, or making a clear case to our product team about what needs to change. We don't expect you to write code, but we do expect you to think like someone who hates waste.
We're being direct because we'd rather you opt out now than burn out in three months.
Some weeks are 80% phone and email follow-up with limited variety. Working with sites that don't want to engage is genuinely frustrating â you'll need persistence and thick skin. The role requires strong attention to detail during work that can feel monotonous. And as a startup with fewer than 20 people, you'll regularly be asked to help with things that aren't in this job description.
We're looking for someone who sees the line between their follow-up call and a patient getting access to a trial, and uses that connection to push through the hard days.
Remote role, no relocation required
Preference to be in the North East and willing to travel, while we are remote we often get together in either New York, Boston, or Durham NC for co-working sessions
Primary working timezone is EST, but as a global business we often have meetings with our team in Sydney Australia
Online application with long form answers
30-minute first round interview with the hiring manager + director of customer success
Paid take-home project (~2 hours, $50 gift card to say thanks for your time)
Final interview with CEO & Founder (in person in Boston, expenses covered)
HealthMatch is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. If this role sounds like you, we'd encourage you to apply, even if you don't check every box.
