Python RAG Observability Systems Engineering

You will design, build, and operate production-grade agentic AI systems for a global regulatory intelligence company that is transforming from expert-led content and workflow services into an AI-first platform business. Your work will focus on modernizing legacy and human-heavy enterprise workflows into reliable AI systems that combine expert knowledge, regulatory content, and customer-specific data to support internal operations and customer-facing products.

This is not a chatbot-only role and not a prompt-engineering role. Success in this position requires strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with agents in production, and the ability to design systems that are observable, auditable, controllable, and safe to operate in high-trust environments. The strongest candidates will be comfortable reasoning about agent runtime behavior, tool use, orchestration, retrieval quality, evaluation frameworks, and safe degradation patterns — not just model outputs.

This job is exclusive to getonbrd.com.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production agentic systems that use tools, retrieval, and structured decision-making to automate or augment complex regulatory and expert workflows.
  • Modernize older, human-driven, or rule-based business processes into structured agentic architectures, choosing pragmatic patterns such as orchestration, choreography, or hybrid approaches depending on runtime and business constraints.
  • Build and optimize RAG systems over large, heterogeneous knowledge sources, including public regulatory data, internal expert content, and customer-provided data, with strong focus on retrieval quality, grounding, and evidence coverage.
  • Design robust tool-calling and routing logic, including context handoffs, agent coordination, and fallback behavior when tools, APIs, or retrieval dependencies fail.
  • Establish strong observability and quality frameworks for AI systems, including tracing, prompt and model version tracking, token/cost monitoring, failure analysis, regression checks, evaluation pipelines, and drift detection.
  • Implement guardrails and safe degradation patterns so systems remain usable and trustworthy under failure, ambiguity, or incomplete context.
  • Integrate AI services with internal and external enterprise systems through APIs, event-driven components, workflow services, and secure data access patterns.
  • Contribute to an AI-native engineering culture, using AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong architecture, code review, testing, and production standards.

Requirements

  • Senior-level software engineering background, with strong production experience building backend systems and APIs in Python.
  • Proven experience deploying AI agents or tool-using LLM systems into production, not only prototypes or demos.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-agent or tool-orchestrated architectures, including runtime control, context/state handoffs, and routing decisions.
  • Strong experience with RAG systems in production: chunking, indexing, embeddings, retrieval optimization, grounding, and evaluation of retrieval quality.
  • Experience implementing evaluation and quality-control workflows for AI systems, such as benchmark suites, LLM-as-a-judge, regression testing, adversarial testing, or production quality monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of observability for AI systems, including traces, logs, prompt/model versioning, token usage, runtime diagnostics, and failure analysis.
  • Experience designing safe failure modes for agentic systems, such as deterministic fallbacks, constrained responses, bounded retries, or human-in-the-loop escalation.
  • Solid API and systems integration experience across enterprise environments.
  • Strong English communication skills, with ability to discuss architecture, trade-offs, and production behavior clearly with a distributed international team.
  • Preferred / Strong Plus
  • Experience working in regulated, high-trust, or compliance-heavy domains such as healthcare, legal, insurance, finance, industrial, or regulatory intelligence.
  • Experience working close to the model/provider layer and making pragmatic decisions around model selection, hosting, abstraction level, and production constraints, including open-source or self-hosted model environments.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, workflow systems, or message-based coordination patterns for AI runtime execution.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools and AI-assisted software development workflows that improve speed without sacrificing quality.

Product Manager Tech
  • AgendaPro
  • Santiago (In-office)
SQL Artificial Intelligence Full-stack Github
Ahora buscamos algo distinto:
no un PM tradicional, sino un Product Builder.
Alguien que no solo define qué construir, sino que lo construye end-to-end.
Un perfil híbrido que combina producto, código e IA para shippear rápido y con impacto.

Apply to this job directly at getonbrd.com.

🧠 A quien buscamos

  • Te obsesiona construir cosas útiles, no solo documentarlas

  • Has usado IA para construir cosas reales, no solo probar

Lite Controller Pathfinder Hospitality

About Us

What is Platinum Service? It's our promise to do unto others better than they could have ever imagined. At Pathfinder Hospitality, hospitality is not just in our name, it is in our DNA. We live, breathe, and even dream Platinum Service.

We have an infinite mindset. We want to have such a strong culture and deep sense of purpose that Pathfinder far outlasts its founders and processes, decades after we are gone. Our core values are our guiding principles.

Accountability · Collaboration · Empowerment · Engagement · Innovation · Integrity · Passion · Transparency

Culture and Values

We continuously break the mold, always going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our employees and guests through our commitment to our purpose — providing platinum service to our guests.

Skills can be learned, but passion can't be taught. If you believe in platinum service and thrive on exceeding expectations, we want to talk to you.

About the Role

The Lite Controller is the financial backbone of Pathfinder Hospitality's multi-property portfolio. This is not a traditional controller role. You will function as a strategic finance partner — producing accurate, timely reporting while actively teaching property leaders how to interpret financials, identify waste, and make better business decisions. You think in ROI, operate with a Zero-Based Budget mindset every day of the year, and hold yourself and others to a standard of business value creation, not just compliance.

You will oversee one Junior Accountant and work in close partnership with General Managers across all properties and the CFO.

Top Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting Excellence Deliver detailed, accurate Profit and Loss Statements for all properties and business units by the 15th of each month. All major financial reports are reviewed by at least two people before distribution, with a target accuracy of ±1%. Consolidate financial data across all hotels for company-wide reporting and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

2. GM Financial Partnership & Teaching Serve as the primary financial resource for General Managers across all properties. Teach GMs how to interpret financial statements, identify operational waste in both dollars and time, and take ownership of their property's financial performance. You don't just report the numbers — you make sure the right people understand them and act on them.

3. Zero-Based Budget Mindset & ROI Analysis Lead budgeting and forecasting with a continuous zero-based mindset — evaluating whether every service and expenditure is still relevant, negotiating for better value, and recommending alternatives. Provide clear ROI analysis to support operating decisions throughout the year, not just during budget season. Monitor actual performance against budget and deliver variance analysis that drives action.

4. Full-Cycle Accounting Oversight Own the full accounting cycle across all properties, including AP/AR, payroll, cash flow management, and internal controls. Build and maintain balance sheets and cash flow statements from the ground up. Oversee and develop the Junior Accountant, reviewing their work and ensuring accuracy before submission.

5. Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness Implement and maintain internal controls that safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Coordinate with external CPA partners on income tax filings and depreciation schedules. Conduct periodic audits of financial processes.

6. Asset Management Support Support CFO on asset management functions including property insurance policy evaluation and negotiation, property tax strategy and protests, pro forma creation for existing and prospective properties, and lender relationship oversight when applicable. Leverage ROI analytics and market data to inform recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including demonstrated ability to build and reconcile balance sheets and cash flow statements from scratch
  • Experience in hospitality, multi-property, or similarly complex operating environments strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS a plus
  • Proficiency in financial management software and accounting systems
  • Demonstrated ability to teach or communicate financial concepts to non-finance leaders
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of meeting tight deadlines consistently
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to hold GMs and other stakeholders accountable with professionalism
  • Proactive, self-directed mindset with the ability to operate independently in a remote environment
  • Desire to grow, regardless of the phase of your career

What We're Not Looking For

Someone who waits to be told what to look at. Someone who sends a report without knowing what it means for the business. Someone who treats budgeting as an annual event. If that's your style, this role will frustrate you — and you'll frustrate us.

Compensation

$3,500 – $3,700 per month | Remote | Full-Time

Position Overview

In today’s fast-paced environment, business stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and
Product often face decision-making delays due to a reliance on manual data requests
and complex reporting. The Revenue Operations team at Actian is building a RevOps AI
Analyst by leveraging the Actian AI Analyst platform—a cutting-edge Generative AI
(GenAI) conversational interface powered by a robust Semantic Layer—to enable self-
service analytics and empower leadership to make faster, smarter decisions.

The Technology: Actian AI Analyst

The Actian AI Analyst is designed to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights. By utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP), it allows non-technical users to ask complex questions—such as inquiries regarding deal progression, account distribution, and revenue attainment—and receive instant, data-driven answers without ever having to write a line of SQL. With its state-of-the art Semantic Layer, this revolutionary product aims to move organizations away from "Steward-heavy" manual workflows and toward Self-Service Analytics without compromising on the reliability and accuracy of their reports, thus providing true Business intelligence.

The Capstone Project

As the RevOps AI Analyst Intern, you will work on the RevOps team to deliver a RevOps AI Analyst Agent to our Sales and Product team. With the central aim to democratize data, your mission will be to support the design, deployment, and evaluation of the pilot, ensuring the AI model delivers accurate, hallucination-free insights by refining the Semantic Model and Data Architecture.

This project is not just about testing a tool; it is about building a scalable framework for Augmented Analytics that will empower leadership to make faster, smarter decisions.

Responsibilities:

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Revenue Strategy and AI Implementation with high visibility across the organization.

Product Ownership & User Discovery

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a junior Product Owner by conducting discovery interviews with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, and Product) to identify critical analytics "pain points" and high-value data gaps.
  • Requirements Synthesis: Translate qualitative user feedback into technical requirements for the AI Analyst, ensuring the conversational interface addresses real-world business logic.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Develop a forward-looking strategic roadmap for future AI iterations based on pilot insights, highlighting opportunities for scalability across the organization.

Data Architecture & Semantic Modeling

  • Semantic Layer Definition: Support the documentation of the Semantic Layer by building a standardized Metrics Definitions Glossary, ensuring the AI provides "one version of the truth."
  • Prompt Engineering: Design and curate a Prompt Library to optimize the AI’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities and improve the precision of generated insights.
  • Data Integrity & Validation: Utilize SQL and Salesforce (SFDC) reporting to audit AI-generated outputs, performing root-cause analysis on query failures to ensure data accuracy.

Pilot Management & Performance Analytics

  • Operational Execution: Manage the daily lifecycle of the Pilot program, serving as the primary lead for the "Steward Inbox" to monitor query failures and user friction points.
  • Success Benchmarking: Track and analyze Adoption Metrics—including Active Users, Question Success Rates, and Time-to-Insight—to quantify the pilot’s ROI and business impact.
  • Capstone Presentation: Synthesize complex data findings into a compelling narrative for the Internship Showcase, presenting your final recommendations to the Executive leadership team.

The Role 👋
  • As a Staff Engineer you’ll work with product and engineering across multiple squads to ensure the right trade-offs are being made and that dependencies and communication is managed effectively. Staff Engineers are the most visible engineers in the organisation and demonstrate technical excellence and our cultural values across all squads and to teams across the wider organisation.
  • Have a strong technical background, including 8+ years of experience designing and engineering large scale systems.
  • Lead squads to sensible architectural decisions on the most complex technical problems.
  • Measure your success in terms of business impact, not lines of code.
  • Internalise the best ideas from across the organisation, humbly setting a vision that others can get behind.
  • Embrace DevOps culture: You build it, you run it.
  • Work well cross-functionally and earn trust from co-workers at all levels.
  • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones.
  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise.
  • You challenge the existing approach when you see the cliff edge racing towards us, but also get on board once the options have been debated and the team has made a decision.
  • You are comfortably organised amongst chaos.
  • You are a broad thinker and have the capability to see the potential impact of decisions across the wider business.
  • Utilise GenerativeAI: Leverage GenAI tools to increase productivity and enhance decision making processes within the role

Nice to Have Skills 🌟
  • Experience with AI/LLM integrations and Generative AI applications
  • Knowledge of intelligent document processing and NLP techniques
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) and search platforms (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch)
  • Exposure to agentic workflows or orchestration frameworks for multi-step AI reasoning, familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), and frameworks like Claude Code

Tech stack 🧱
  • We're pragmatic about our technology choices. These are some of the things we use at the moment:
  • 🗃 Python
  • 🗄️ PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MySQL
  • 🎨 TypeScript, React, styled-components
  • 🔧 Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, pytest
  • ☁️ AWS, GCP
  • 🚀 ECS Fargate, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions

How we expect you to work 👷‍♀️
  • We expect you to work in these ways, as well as encouraging and enabling these practices from others:
  • Collaborate 💬 - We work in cross-functional, mission driven, autonomous squads that gel over time. We pair program to work better through shared experience and knowledge.
  • Focus on outcomes over outputs ✅ - Solving a problem for users that translates to business results is our goal. Measurements focused on that goal help us to understand if we are succeeding.
  • Practice continuous improvement 💡 - We optimise for feedback now, rather than presume what might be needed in the future and introduce complexity before it will be used. This means we learn faster. We share learnings in blame-free formats, so that we do not repeat things that have failed, but still have confidence to innovate.
  • Seek to understand our users 👂 - We constantly seek understanding from data and conversations to better serve our users' needs, taking an active part in research to hear from them directly and regularly.
  • Embrace and enable continuous deployment 🤖 - Seamless delivery of changes into an environment - without manual intervention - is essential for us to ensure that we are highly productive; consider resiliency; and practice security by design.
  • Test outside-in, test first 🚦 - TDD keeps us confident in moving fast, and deploying regularly. We want to solve user problems, and so we test with that mindset - writing scenarios first, then considering our solution; coupling tests to behaviour, rather than implementation.
  • You build it, you run it ⚙️ - We embrace DevOps culture and end-to-end ownership of products and features. Every engineer, regardless of their role, has the opportunity to lead delivery of features from start to finish.
  • Be cloud native ☁️ - We leverage automation and hosted services to deliver resilient, secure services quickly and consistently. Where SaaS tools help us achieve more productivity and better quality results for a cheap price, we use these to automate low value tasks.

How we expect you to behave ❤️
  • We embrace difference and know that when we can be ourselves at work, we are happier, more motivated, and creative. We want to be able to bring our whole selves to work, have our own perspectives and know that we belong. As such, through your behaviours at work, we expect you to reflect and actively sustain a healthy engineering environment that looks like this:
  • A wide range of voices heard to the benefit of all
  • Teams that are clearly happy, engaged, and laugh together
  • Perceivable safety to have an opinion or ask a question
  • No egos - people listen to and learn from others at all levels, with strong opinions held loosely

What makes working here better 😍
  • This is a truly hybrid role, offering engineers the flexibility to work from home while also providing opportunities to collaborate in person with the team when it adds value. There’s no fixed requirement for days in the office, instead, we focus on creating space for engineers to engage meaningfully, whether that’s in-person for whiteboarding sessions or remote for deep focus work.
  • Work-life balance 🌴 - 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) each year, and enhanced family leave allowances.
  • Competitive salary & equity 🏦 - We want people to have a serious stake in the business.
  • Good kit 💻 - Your choice of the best laptop, running macOS.

  • Commuter support 🚲 - We offer the cycle to work and EV scheme.

About Us

We’re OakNorth Bank and we embolden entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions, understand their markets, and apply data intelligence to everyday decisions to scale successfully at pace.

Banking should be barrier-free. It’s a belief at our very core, inspired by our entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the unmet financial needs of millions, and delivered by our data-driven tools.

And for those who love helping businesses thrive? Our savings accounts help diversify the high street and create new jobs, all while earning savers some of the highest interest on the market.

But we go beyond finance, to empower our people, encourage professional growth and create an environment where everyone can thrive. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves and succeed.

Our story

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.

Why was it so difficult for a profitable business with impressive cashflow, retained clients, and clear commercial success to get a loan?

The industry was backward-looking and too focused on historic financials, rather than future potential.

So, what if there was a bank, founded by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs? One that offered a dramatically better borrowing experience for businesses?

No more what ifs, OakNorth Bank exists.

We are seeking a Business Partner – Technical Consulting to act as a strategic advisor and coach for our forward-deployed technical teams.
This role is focused on enabling technical professionals—such as Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers—to operate effectively within complex client environments. Support consultants in understanding and navigating client-side dynamics, including informal power structures and decision-making processes.
Provide guidance on how to position ideas, manage expectations, and engage stakeholders strategically.

design game founder manager

👋 Hi, I’m Kat, Head of Partnerships at Ashby. I joined the team in 2024 to develop and lead our Partnership ecosystem. From the start, I was responsible for setting strategy and executing; the 0 to 1 work that a serial startup marketer like me loves. The through-line in my career is ‘doing things that have never been done before’, which is what drew me to Ashby. The work here looks different than at most companies. We have strong buy-in for partnerships within the organization. This has allowed me to focus on building key programs like Ashby Experts, our integration directory, community partnerships that provide air cover to our sales teams, and partner activations like the SF Giant’s game for Ashby One.

As the business scales, it’s time for me to give away my legos. One of the projects I’ve fully owned since the beginning is our VC Partnerships. The startup ecosystem is an anchor of Ashby’s growth. Our goal is to make Ashby the default ATS for venture-backed startups by embedding deeply into the VC talent ecosystem, driving trust, preference, and repeatable startup pipeline. It’s led me to forming deep relationships with VC Talent at firms like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Craft, and hosting our inaugural VC Talent Summit. Now it’s time to think bigger.

The Principal, VC & Startup Ecosystem Lead role is an opportunity for someone to come in and own partnerships across three key pillars: VC Talent, Startups, and Accelerators. I’m looking for someone who’s excited about being the face of this community and building programming that serves founders and VC Talent. Taking what I’ve started and 10x’ing it to increase the impact. You’ll immediately own our startup partnerships, making sure we’re connected with the right firms, running campaigns with Demand Gen to target portfolio companies, building relationships with accelerators to develop programming for founders, and running an event strategy to co-host meetups with top VC firms.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

Over the next 12 months, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Deepening Ashby’s VC Talent Partner community & programming. You’ll own our annual VC Talent Partner Summit, taking our format and making it even better next year. You’ll develop programming that builds trusted relationships with top Talent Partners, create content, events, and touch points that invest in Talent Partners and become a known, trusted advisor in the community.

2. Extending Ashby’s startup ecosystem. You’ll design events that bring together founders and first recruiters, turning community moments into long-term relationships, and make Ashby the default hiring tool in a founder’s stack.

3. Building our Accelerator GTM motion. You’ll build relationships with Accelerators and design programming that increases adoption across early-stage companies. Making accelerators a clear part of Ashby’s startup success.

You Will Probably Love This Role If…

  • You’ve worked closely with VC Talent Partners and understand their roles in the venture ecosystem.

  • You thrive off of a high-ownership, high trust environment and enjoy putting strategy together and then running at it to execute.

  • You love designing event programming with partners and know what a startup founder values.

  • You lead with curiosity and kindness, and have mastered the art of turning “no’s” into a positive experience for others.

  • You’re an exceptional communicator and writer, with a strong executive presence.

  • You enjoy being a host, leading conversations and are known for building long-term relationships.

  • You’re excited by the idea of building something new and meaningful for the startup community.

This Role Is Not a Fit If…

  • You’re uncomfortable with autonomy or working independently. Our team culture is primarily asynchronous and high-ownership. Meaning you’re responsible for setting deadlines and moving work forward.

  • You’re not used to working with urgency. We value forward momentum and high output, and believe it’s a competitive advantage to out-execute others.

  • You love founders, but prefer to be in the background. This role requires you to lead conversations with executive audiences and be comfortable speaking as a subject matter expert in front of big rooms.

  • For whatever reason, travel is hard for you. VCs are located in SF and NYC, and the events you’ll be hosting will be there or at conferences. This role is best suited for someone who gets energy from being on the road.

  • You’re not detail oriented. We have an incredible Event Ops team, but this role requires you to sweat the details on your programs with full ownership over them.

Interview Process

At Ashby, we design our interview process to help you show your best self. Here’s what to expect:

  1. 30-minute intro call – intro call with Michelle (Recruiter) to learn more about the role and share a bit about your experience and how you’d want to approach this role.

  2. 45-minute interview with me (Kat, Hiring Manager) – We’ll dive into past projects and discuss your approach to partner enablement.

  3. 30-minute interview with Harriet, (VP, Marketing) to dig into Operating Principles and business acumen.

  4. Assignment – You’ll complete a written take-home assignment.

  5. Virtual Onsite (2 hours) – You’ll meet with team members across marketing, events, and leadership.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity.

  • Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.

  • 10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldn’t feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby —do it when you feel financially comfortable.

  • Unlimited PTO with four weeks recommended per year. Expect “Vacation?” in our one-on-one agenda until you start taking it 😅.

  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US. We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise.

  • Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive!

  • $100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval.

  • If you’re in the US, top-notch health insurance for you and your dependents with all premiums covered by us.

Ashby’s success hinges on hiring great people and creating an environment where we can be happy, feel challenged, and do our best work. We’re being deliberate about building that environment from the ground up. I hope that excites you enough to apply.

Go React TypeScript Infrastructure as Code

Blazestack is advancing mission-critical software used by public safety agencies operating in high-trust, high-stakes environments. This role contributes to a scalable, AWS-native platform that combines Go-based backend services with responsive React/TypeScript UIs, AI-assisted tooling, and secure data handling. The project emphasizes real-world impact: trusted software that investigators rely on in the field, built with modern cloud-native architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and strict security/compliance requirements. You will shape system architecture, drive feature delivery end-to-end, and collaborate in a remote-first, fast-moving team to deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for frontline professionals.

Applications are only received at getonbrd.com.

Job functions

  • Own complex product features from concept through production, shaping architecture, implementing backend services in Go, and building responsive UI flows with React/TypeScript.
  • Design and evolve data models, APIs, and AI-assisted reporting tools, ensuring reliability, security, and usability for investigators in the field.
  • Work in an AWS-native, event-driven architecture using infrastructure-as-code and modern cloud primitives to scale systems while meeting stringent security and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership in a small, remote-first team to influence platform evolution and user experience.
  • Apply strong engineering hygiene: test-driven development, DRY principles, and maintainable abstractions to support long-term growth and easier changes over time.
  • Review own work critically, anticipate failure modes, and ship features that remain stable after release without frequent revisits.

Qualifications and requirements

We're looking for engineers at a Senior (L5) to Staff (L6) level equivalent to FAANG standards. In particular, we’re seeking a senior full-stack engineer who can deliver production-grade software end-to-end. You should have demonstrable experience shipping full-stack web applications in production environments, fluency with Go, React, TypeScript, Playwright, Github Workflows, AWS-based architectures, and a track record of taking ownership of features from design through deployment. In your application, specify your experience with each of the aforementioned technologies.

Ability to design and maintain isolated test environments, provisioning test suites that cover end-to-end scenarios and edge cases. You’ll build production UIs and extend or adapt them as needed. Practice test-driven development, write clean, well-factored code, and craft interfaces that feel intuitive to real users. A passion for UX, clarity, and delivering robust software in high-stakes settings is essential. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment and value shipping right the first time, with an eye toward maintainability and long-term viability.

Desirable skills

Strong collaboration and communication skills, experience with Material UI, accessibility and responsive design familiarity with data modeling for complex investigations, and a mindset geared toward user-centered design. Prior experience in public-safety or similar high-trust domains is a plus. Comfortable working across product and engineering leadership to drive outcomes, and capable of balancing speed with quality and long-term maintainability.

Conditions

  • Opportunity to build mission-critical software that positively impacts public safety teams enhanced with cutting-edge AI capabilities.
  • Work with a dedicated, fast-moving team utilizing the latest cloud, infrastructure, and AI-driven UI technologies.
  • Thrive in a remote-first culture that emphasizes speed, ownership, innovation, and experimentation.
  • Be part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of AI and cloud-native technology integration for essential real-world applications.

Fully remote You can work from anywhere in the world.
Flexible hours Flexible schedule and freedom for attending family needs or personal errands.
Company retreats Team-building activities outside the premises.
Computer provided Blazestack provides a computer for your work.
Performance bonus Extra compensation is offered upon meeting performance goals.
Informal dress code No dress code is enforced.
Vacation over legal Blazestack gives you paid vacations over the legal minimum.

Every issue is written by builders in tech. Both TLDR Crypto writers both work at Coinbase, TLDR Dev is written by engineers from DeepMind and Meta, TLDR AI is written by researchers from Anthropic and Adobe. That’s why TLDR is the best way to stay current on what truly matters in tech.

💪Team: Our 26-person full time team includes alumni of TikTok, Business Insider, Morning Brew, and other top media brands.

📈Traction: We doubled our revenue from 2024 to 2025 and are looking to double revenue again in 2026. We are supported by advertisers who want to reach tech’s decision makers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Anthropic, Slack, Notion, and GitHub.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Own and drive high-priority initiatives end-to-end across any function. Scope deliverables, set milestones, manage dependencies across teams, and hold stakeholders accountable to timelines and quality standards.

  • Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses and action plans. You're the person who builds the model, frames the trade-offs, and delivers a recommendation.

  • Help design and run the company's operating cadences — reporting cycles, planning processes, review rhythms. Identify where process is missing or breaking and stand up lightweight systems before problems compound.

  • Act as the connective tissue between the CEO, functional leads, and execution teams, ensuring outcomes are measurable and repeatable.

  • Maintain shared sources of truth — partner with functional owners to investigate discrepancies, validate data definitions, and build playbooks and institutional documentation that reduce key-person risk.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6 months, you will:

  • Own 2–3 cross-functional initiatives from scoping through delivery

  • Build or improve at least one recurring operational cadence (planning cycle, metrics reporting, or review process) that the team adopts and relies on

  • Deliver an analysis that directly informs a major strategic decision

  • Earn trust as the person leadership turns to when something important needs to get done well and fast

Key outcomes you'll be measured on:

  • Execution velocity and quality — initiatives move to completion on time, with analytically rigorous outputs that leadership acts on without heavy rework

  • Operational scalability — the cadences, documentation, and systems you build help the company reach alignment faster

About You

  • 5–7+ years in business operations, finance, or management consulting, with at 2 years in a cross-functional ops or chief-of-staff-type role at a high-growth company preferred

  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment — you've operated where structure was being built, not inherited.

  • Analytically rigorous — you are a first-principles thinker, you build models, trackers, and analyses from scratch, not just operate within existing frameworks. Advanced spreadsheets minimum; SQL or BI tools a plus

  • Effective cross-functional operator — you will be doing the work and driving execution across teams you don't directly control, without creating friction.

  • Strong communicator — you translate complex analysis into clear, exec-ready outputs, written and verbal

Nice to haves:

  • MBA or equivalent analytical training

  • Experience with CRM/RevOps systems (HubSpot, Salesforce)

  • Exposure to media, advertising, or newsletter business models

  • AI/automation proficiency for workflow optimization

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Spot problems worth solving and start on them without waiting for direction

  • Drive decisions forward instead of adding meetings and status updates

  • Are energized by shipping, not just advising

  • Move fluidly across functional areas and enjoy the variety

  • Do your best work in lean environments and enjoy building systems from scratch

  • Have operated somewhere you owned the output, not just the recommendation

Why You'll Love It

🤑Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000

ABOUT OUR COMPANY:

The crushing weight of debt is something that we believe holds people back from reaching their dreams and making a splash in the world. So in 2013, after seeing our friends and family struggle with student loans, we created Splash Financial.

And we've raised over $135 million from investors like partners of DST Global, Citi Ventures, TruStage Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners, and more.

But at our core, we're still that little company from Cleveland with a big dream: to make people more powerful than their debt and we're just getting started..

ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE:

Splash is remote-first, and proud of it.

We spend our days simplifying financial products and getting them into the hands of people who need them most. Right now, we're focused on building financial technologies that fundamentally transform how the industry lends.

$65000 - $75000 Full time
Operations Coordinator Clinical Trials
  • HealthMatch
  • United States
founder ceo coordinator director

About HealthMatch

HealthMatch connects patients with clinical trials. 80% of trials are delayed because they can't find enough participants — we're closing that gap with technology. We have over 2M patients in our database and a lean team of fewer than 20 building something that matters.

The Role

HealthMatch works with sponsors and clinical trial sites to recruit and enroll participants into studies. This role is the human link in that chain. You're the person sites hear from when referrals come in. You're the person patients talk to when they're considering a trial. You're the reason referrals turn into enrollments instead of going cold.

Day to day, you'll manage relationships with dozens of trial sites across LatAm and US markets, follow up with patients, keep our CRM accurate, and be trained to review medical records alongside our Medical Director. The work is phone-heavy, email-heavy, and detail-heavy.

Over time, we want you to do more than execute — we want you to spot what's broken and help fix it. If you notice a follow-up workflow that could be automated, or a site engagement pattern that should become a playbook, we want you to raise it and help build it.

What a Typical Week Looks Like

Most weeks, the majority of your time is outbound communication:

  • Calling and emailing clinical trial sites to make sure patient referrals are being followed up on

  • Tracking referral statuses across our portal and CRM - this means real-time data entry, not batch updates at the end of the week

  • Supporting patients directly as they move through enrollment

  • Flagging sites that aren't engaging and working with the team on how to re-engage them

  • Helping onboard new sites to the HealthMatch platform

Some weeks will also include:

  • Working with our Medical Director on medical record reviews (you'll be trained on this)

  • Building or refining parts of our site engagement playbook based on what you're learning in real conversations

  • Jumping into other company needs as they come up - we're a small team and the edges of everyone's role are blurry

Who This Role Is For

You must be fluent in both Spanish and English. This is non-negotiable - you'll be working across US and LatAm markets daily.

You're great on the phone. Not in a scripted, call-center way. You build trust quickly with site coordinators and patients, you're comfortable with follow-up that feels repetitive, and you understand that strong relationships are what make the repetition bearable. The better your relationships get, the more the job opens up.

You're organized under volume. You'll be managing dozens of site relationships simultaneously. Dropping a follow-up means a patient might not get into a trial. You need a system, whether that's meticulous CRM hygiene, your own tracking spreadsheet, or something else, and the discipline to maintain it.

You have at least 2 years of professional experience. We're less concerned about where and more concerned that you've worked in a fast-paced, accountable environment before. Experience at a clinical research site or a background in health/science is a plus, it'll shorten your ramp, but it's not required.

You're resourceful. When something is inefficient, you'd rather figure out a fix than complain about it. That might mean building yourself a dashboard, learning a new tool, or making a clear case to our product team about what needs to change. We don't expect you to write code, but we do expect you to think like someone who hates waste.

What's Hard About This Job

We're being direct because we'd rather you opt out now than burn out in three months.

Some weeks are 80% phone and email follow-up with limited variety. Working with sites that don't want to engage is genuinely frustrating — you'll need persistence and thick skin. The role requires strong attention to detail during work that can feel monotonous. And as a startup with fewer than 20 people, you'll regularly be asked to help with things that aren't in this job description.

We're looking for someone who sees the line between their follow-up call and a patient getting access to a trial, and uses that connection to push through the hard days.

Compensation & Details

  • Remote role, no relocation required

  • Preference to be in the North East and willing to travel, while we are remote we often get together in either New York, Boston, or Durham NC for co-working sessions

  • Primary working timezone is EST, but as a global business we often have meetings with our team in Sydney Australia

How to Apply

  1. Online application with long form answers

  2. 30-minute first round interview with the hiring manager + director of customer success

  3. Paid take-home project (~2 hours, $50 gift card to say thanks for your time)

  4. Final interview with CEO & Founder (in person in Boston, expenses covered)

HealthMatch is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. If this role sounds like you, we'd encourage you to apply, even if you don't check every box.

This role was recently advertised. If you applied for it previously and have not been contacted, please assume that we deemed you not as an ideal fit for this role.
