Key Responsibilities
- Migrate content from Aestiva platform to WordPress.
- Develop a custom login page integrated with AWS RDS for user authentication.
- Optimize WordPress performance to handle high traffic conditions efficiently.
- Implement caching strategies, CDN, and security best practices to ensure site stability and protection.
- Maintain high availability and ensure smooth deployment workflows using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with the legacy platform team to deliver a seamless integrated user experience across systems.
Requirements
- Advanced experience in WordPress development including plugin and theme development and customization.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, with deep understanding of plugin development and theme customizations.
- Experience connecting WordPress with external databases such as AWS RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for dynamic data handling.
- Proven ability in designing and implementing custom login flows and authentication logic.
- Good understanding of performance optimization techniques and security best practices for WordPress sites.
- Conversational proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with US-based teams.
