Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate content from Aestiva platform to WordPress.
  • Develop a custom login page integrated with AWS RDS for user authentication.
  • Optimize WordPress performance to handle high traffic conditions efficiently.
  • Implement caching strategies, CDN, and security best practices to ensure site stability and protection.
  • Maintain high availability and ensure smooth deployment workflows using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the legacy platform team to deliver a seamless integrated user experience across systems.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience in WordPress development including plugin and theme development and customization.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, with deep understanding of plugin development and theme customizations.
  • Experience connecting WordPress with external databases such as AWS RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for dynamic data handling.
  • Proven ability in designing and implementing custom login flows and authentication logic.
  • Good understanding of performance optimization techniques and security best practices for WordPress sites.
  • Conversational proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with US-based teams.
