Job Details:

We are seeking an engineer reporting to the engineering manager on the Small and Micro Business Pay team to help develop Backend services that support our business payment solutions. We will work with Go and AWS to create scalable, reliable, and efficient systems. We are looking for a strong collaborator who can work across teams and roles with platform engineers, product managers, and other engineers.

You Will:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end systems for our business customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver customer-focused solutions that enhance trust and safety.
  • Lead technical discussions and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Professional experience with Go and Java. Knowledge of Typescript is a plus.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
