Job Details:

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer who will join our application scrum teams and help drive our mission to provide financial opportunity for underserved small businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the software development life cycle for small-scale complexity features.
  • Actively participate in the software design activities for projects across the team.
  • Proactively develop expertise in the team’s areas of responsibility.
  • Act as a resource for product on technical feasibility and complexity analysis for small features.
  • Promptly address bugs and incidents, and consistently be accessible during core hours.

Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in agile software development
  • 5+ years of experience with Ruby and/or Golang programming language
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and a working knowledge of software architecture principles
  • Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, a certificate from a coding bootcamp, or additional relevant experience
