Overview

WeRemoto is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Coordinator on behalf of one of our valued clients in the luxury travel industry. This individual will be responsible for creating authentic, engaging content that highlights the company’s unique brand and client experiences — not just supplier promotions. The role will also include managing social media calendars, supporting newsletter creation, and helping to ensure consistent and personalized communication with clients. This is a part-time, remote position (approximately 20 hours per week), with flexibility to occasionally support stories or posts while advisors are traveling.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Create original, engaging content (posts, captions, stories, reels) that reflects the brand’s voice and differentiates it from stock supplier content.
  • Support content capture for advisors while traveling (e.g., live updates, stories, or trip highlights).
  • Develop and manage a regular newsletter, including writing, editing, layout, and distribution (tools such as Brevo or similar).
  • Collaborate with leadership to curate content that highlights the brand’s defining features and enhances client relationships.
  • Maintain and organize a Social Media Calendar and Newsletter Calendar.
  • Track and report on engagement metrics, providing insights to optimize reach and relevance.
  • (Upon request) Provide light support with administrative or travel-related tasks as needed, subject to cross-training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational, written storytelling, and verbal communication skills with advanced English proficiency (C1–C2).
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva (Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
  • Familiarity with newsletter platforms (Brevo, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and other key social platforms, including stories and reels.
  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in travel, lifestyle, or luxury industries preferred.
  • Reliable setup with a stable internet connection and your own laptop or desktop computer

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and analytics.
  • Experience with managing both social media and newsletters for a brand.
  • Video editing or multimedia skills.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship marketing in the travel industry.
