Key Responsibilities
As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of our web-based applications. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using appropriate tools.
- Performing manual and automated testing, focusing on functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Utilizing SQL for database validation and Postman for API testing.
- Participating in release planning and reviews to provide input on quality and risk assessments.
Required Skills and Experience
To be considered for the Senior QA Analyst position, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in testing web-based applications.
- ISTQB certification, validating your proficiency in testing standards.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with the team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- The ability to work independently while fostering a spirit of teamwork.
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be advantageous:
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or BlazeMeter.
- Experience with Accessibility testing to ensure our products are user-friendly for everyone.
- Proficiency in the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Hands-on experience with TestRail and SoapUI.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium for more efficient testing.
