The Senior Software Engineer is a seasoned team player who will support and lead critical engineering projects, focused on system design, full stack development, quality coding. This position will work across different teams, and levels, offering expertise, and guidance on scalable solutions.

Our Senior Software Engineers have diverse skills and coding abilities. The role of a software engineer could support Software Solutions and/or Data projects. A commitment to quality work, attention to detail and maintaining applications will be key, to succeed in this role.

Your daily duties and projects will focus on your expertise to:

• Produce clean production-ready code, evolving it to be self-documenting , ensuring alignment with overall architecture
• Utilize abstractions and code isolation effectively, ensuring apps can be monitored using a single observability too
• Manage all work and tools, with the focus of optimizing the lowest possible infrastructure cost, without compromising quality.
• Work within different stacks, to implement detailed software design.
• Maintain full ownership of projects from conception through deployment, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• When needed, provide technical leadership and mentorship, to junior team members, promoting best practices in cloud architecture and development.
• Focus on continuous improvement, able to identify issues across different stacks, including refactor systematic issues in at least one stack
• Provide efficient and effective solutions, towards the improvement and/or the repair of any issues,
• Provide timely communication and responses to stakeholders, should any issue arise.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in a Senior / Lead role.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), ideally with experience in using the AWS Cloud
• 2 years Development Kit (CDK) for deploying cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and NodeJS.
• 3+ years of experience working with version control systems such as git. Ability to use Github Actions.
• 2 years of experience in Frontend (React).
• 3 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Advanced level of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way, to both technical and non-technical users.

El Senior Fullstack Developer será responsable de liderar, diseñar, desarrollar y mantener soluciones de software complejas y de alto impacto. Actuará como mentor para otros desarrolladores y contribuirá a la toma de decisiones técnicas estratégicas, garantizando la alineación con los objetivos de la empresa, gerencia, negocio y la innovación continua.

• Liderar, diseñar, desarrollar y mantener aplicaciones web complejas y escalables, tanto a nivel de interfaces de usuario (frontend) como API y microservicios (backend), aplicando las mejores prácticas y estándares del mercado y de la gerencia para lograr resultado con la mayor calidad posible, en tiempos acordes y así ir entregando valor a nuestros clientes por medio del desarrollo de funcionalidades

• Levantar y realizar seguimiento a los riesgos asociados al desarrollo para alertar al equipo y negocio respecto a decisiones o cambios que puedan ser requeridos desde un lado no técnico y que puedan afectar a nuestros clientes
• Apoyar y ayudar a definir la arquitectura de software y tomar decisiones estratégicas que impacten en la dirección del desarrollo para construir la mejor solución posible, escalable, confiable y eficiente para nuestros clientes
• Mentorizar y guiar a los desarrolladores internship, junior y pleno en las mejores prácticas y tecnologías para ayudarlos y apoyarlos en su crecimiento profesional y en el impacto y valor que entregan al equipo
• Participar en revisiones de código y sesiones de retroalimentación para fomentar buenas prácticas de desarrollo y que el código sea escalable, confiable y mantenible en el tiempo.

Formación: Titulo profesional/técnico de Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniero Civil Informática o afín

Experiencia: Al menos 4 años trabajando como fullstack developer

• Experiencia en desarrollo de software en células ágiles. Excluyente

• Soporte Nocturno a Sistemas Críticos:
  • Verificar que los sistemas funcionen correctamente, identificando y resolviendo errores de manera proactiva para evitar retrasos o interrupciones.
  • Monitorear continuamente los logs del sistema (en plataformas Python y JavaScript) y actuar rápidamente ante anomalías.
  • Mantener comunicación activa con el equipo técnico para resolver problemas en tiempo real.
• Actualizaciones Técnicas Clave:
  • Ejecutar tareas programadas y actualizaciones menores durante el horario nocturno, asegurando que los sistemas estén optimizados para el siguiente día.
