About The Role

Location: Remote / LATAM preferred
Type: Full-time / Core Team

We're looking for a frontend engineer who not only writes great code, but also thinks critically about design, scalability, and product. You will build modern interfaces that artists and fans love, and contribute directly to how music is bought, sold, and experienced.

The hard problems:

You'll build the interfaces artists use to connect with their fans, from storefronts and drops to purchase flows and content experiences.
It's a product with objective complexity: two distinct user types, real money changing hands, and a lot of surface area to get right.

This isn't a "pixel pusher" role. You'll have opinions about architecture, push back on designs that don't make sense, and propose things that weren't in the spec because you saw the opportunity. We expect you to write maybe 30-40% of your code manually, the rest is directing, reviewing, and iterating with Claude, Cursor, or whatever makes you fastest. If you're still writing every line by hand, this will feel foreign. If you've already made the shift, you know why it matters.

What We're Looking For

Core:

Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
You've worked closely with designers and have opinions about what makes a UI feel right
Comfortable with API-based architectures (REST/GraphQL)
You're in or near LATAM time zones, or willing to overlap significantly

Bonus:

Experience with TailwindCSS, React Native, or Ruby on Rails
Background in music, creator economy, or media-tech
You've built something on the side that you're proud of

Mindset:

You ship fast, talk to users, and improve in tight loops
You're energized by ambiguity, you don't need everything spec'd out to start
You're thoughtful and opinionated about the why behind the code
You use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow, not as a novelty

Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, TailwindCSS · Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL

Language: Fluent English isn't required, but you should be comfortable reading technical docs in English and communicating with an international team.
