Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong hands-on experience in Rocket UniVerse System Builder (Extensible Architecture) and Rich Client development.
This is a highly specialized role. If you have not worked directly with System Builder in UniVerse, this position is likely not a fit.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using Rocket UniVerse System Builder / Extensible Architecture with Rich Client.
- Work extensively with System Builder and UniVerse BASIC programming in production environments.
- Build and consume secure, well-documented RESTful APIs that integrate with System Builder applications.
- Design new features and provide accurate size estimates based on complexity, dependencies, and risk.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, and stakeholders to refine requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Clearly communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
Qualifications and requirements
- Advanced, hands-on experience with Rocket UniVerse System Builder / Extensible Architecture (Rich Client).
- Strong proficiency in UniVerse BASIC programming.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience using PRC or Azure DevOps for source control.
- Ability to define implementation strategies and provide accurate development estimates.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
