Merapar is a European Software consultancy company that specializes in cloud (AWS and GCP), video platforms and IoT that is now also in Chile serve the Americas market. We work in small agile teams and help global video power houses such as BBC, NBC Universal, Liberty Global, Discovery to get software innovations to the market

For this role we look for somebody who everywhere in the stack: frontend, backend and infra. Hence the "++" in the "FullStack++ Engineer". If you miss one one of the three that's also not a problem because you can learn that working with us

For this specific project infra is deployed via Terraform on AWS, we use Python for code and React for fronted. And we love ideas on how we can improve our tools

We work from home but meet on Thursday morning in person and have lunch together

Job functions

You will work in an agile team where you are going to: Design, implement, test and document software.

As a senior member of the team we also expect you to coach younger people in the team.

Qualifications and requirements

Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics or provable experience
At least 5 years of experience with implementing distributed systems in either Python
Experience with Scrum
Experience with Docker and Cloud
Fluency in English
Live in Santiago. We typically meet once a week to work together and have lunch together
And of course all the standard soft skills that everybody always asks for ;-)

AWS certified
Scrum.org certification
Experience with video(platforms)
