Woolbuddy is a growing consumer goods brand that sells primarily on Amazon, with Shopify and wholesale channels. Our business is seasonal and inventory-driven, making disciplined planning and execution essential. The Operations Manager will own inventory planning across all channels and ensure projects ship on time, driving outcomes rather than performing routine tasks. This role sits at the intersection of planning and execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain healthy inventory, align launches with demand, and optimize processes for scale.

What you’ll own

  • Inventory Planning (Primary): Forecast inventory across Amazon, Shopify, and wholesale; manage reorder points, safety stock, and 4–6 month lead times; plan container quantities and inbound timing; flag risks early and recommend actions; deliver a weekly inventory health summary with coverage, risks, and decisions needed.
  • Project Execution: Own operational projects (launches, packaging, seasonal prep); break work into tasks with owners and deadlines; track execution in Monday.com and drive to completion; coordinate across Amazon, customer service, warehouse, and external partners; proactively address slippage and implement fixes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with founders, operations support VA, warehouse teams, and vendors to ensure smooth handoffs and timely delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, document workflows, and implement scalable systems to support growth while maintaining data integrity.

What we’re looking for

Required: 3–7 years of experience in operations, inventory planning, or supply chain; strong spreadsheet and forecasting skills; experience managing multiple projects; ability to hold people accountable; clear English communication; experience working with US-based teams. Nice to have: Amazon or ecommerce operations experience; background in physical consumer products; experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools.

Desirable but not required

Experience optimizing inventory across multiple channels, familiarity with multi-channel retail planning, data-driven decision making, and a track record of delivering results in fast-moving consumer goods environments. Strong analytical mindset, adaptability, and a collaborative style that thrives in a hands-on, outcomes-focused role.

Benefits and expectations

Compensation: USD 3,000–3,500 to start, with rapid increases tied to ownership and results. This role reports to the founder and is supported by an Ops Support VA for documentation and updates. The position is fully remote with opportunities for growth, ownership of outcomes, and a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. We value data-driven decisions, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
