As a QA Engineer, you’ll help ensure our consumer app, web platform, and white-label integrations deliver reliable, high-quality experiences for millions of users. What you'll do

  • Review tickets and product specs to write thorough test plans and test cases before development starts
  • Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web (Next.js), mobile (React Native/Expo), and API surfaces
  • Test payment flows, KYC/identity verification, and onboarding funnels — catching edge cases that matter in a financial product
  • File clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, environment details, and screenshots or screen recordings
  • Verify bug fixes and validate releases before they go live
  • Maintain and improve our test case library in Linear
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and give QA input during planning to catch issues early
  • Partner with engineers on defining acceptance criteria for new features

Required skills and experience

  • 3+ years of QA experience, ideally at a startup or product company
  • Strong instincts for finding edge cases — you break things methodically, not randomly
  • Experience testing both web and mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Comfort testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar
  • Ability to write clear bug reports in English — details like environment, steps to reproduce, and expected vs. actual behavior
  • Organized and self-directed — you can manage your own test queue without a lot of hand-holding
  • Experience with a project management tool (Linear, Jira, or similar)
  • Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or any product handling financial data
  • Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or other automated testing frameworks
  • Some scripting ability in Python or JavaScript — enough to read test code and eventually write it
  • Exposure to compliance-sensitive workflows (KYC, identity verification, regulated flows)
  • Experience testing white-label or multi-tenant SaaS products
