Promomash Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Analyst to ensure accurate trade execution, pricing, and reporting by managing client trade data, configuring trade structures in the platform, and resolving trade-related exceptions. This role spans Trade and Deduction operations, ensuring trade events and promotional data are correctly set up to support automated deduction clearing and reliable financial outcomes. You will collect and validate client data, maintain trade configurations, and analyze and resolve complex trade-related deduction issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position supports onboarding and ongoing operations for multiple clients, coordinating with Sales, Client Success, and Finance to drive accurate analytics and clean financial results.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Data Intake & Platform Setup
- Collect, review, and manage trade-related data from clients during onboarding and ongoing operations
- Validate incoming data for completeness, format compliance, and alignment with platform requirements
- Set up and maintain foundational trade data in the platform, including products, customers, reason codes, distribution and pricing structures
- Upload and manage client datasets including promotions, contracts, POS data, distributor shipment data, sales invoices, and base volume data
- Data Validation & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all uploaded data reflects client source files
- Perform reconciliation and validation checks across datasets to identify gaps or inconsistencies
- Proactively identify data issues that could impact trade analytics, reporting, or deduction clearing
- Document data assumptions, exceptions, and resolutions
- Deduction Allocation & Trade Exception Resolution
- Review deductions in Awaiting Allocations and analyze trade-related exceptions (e.g., missing or incomplete trade events, date misalignment, rate or item discrepancies, eligibility issues)
- Determine resolution paths to move deductions from Awaiting Allocations to Cleared
- Create or update trade events to correct data, including rates, dates, items, and customer eligibility
- Validate that trade corrections align with client-approved terms and enable accurate deduction allocation and clearing
- Cross-Functional & Client Collaboration
- Partner with the Deductions team to request recoding or clarifications when trade changes are not required
- Collaborate with Client Success and clients to confirm promotional details and resolve discrepancies
- Provide clear documentation and communication regarding actions taken and trade assumptions
What You’ll Bring to the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Analyst with strong data management, analytical, and communication skills. You should excel at handling structured datasets, performing data validation, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate trade and deduction outcomes.
Required skills include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience), excellent English-language fluency, and advanced Excel skills. You should have a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain high data quality, and translate data insights into actionable outcomes.
Soft skills such as clear, professional communication, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with sales, client success, and finance teams are essential to success in this role.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in trade promotion management, revenue management, or CPG operations; familiarity with POS, shipment, invoice, contract, and deduction data; experience supporting system implementations, data onboarding, or operational workflows. Prior exposure to ERP platforms and data integration projects is a plus.
