Project/Department focus: As Director of Operations, you will lead the entire operational engine—encompassing production, scheduling, procurement, and logistics—across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end operations including production planning, scheduling, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time, within-spec production that meets quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that increase efficiency, scalability, and throughput while reducing cost and lead times.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and maintenance to achieve company objectives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across departments; provide data-driven insights to senior leadership and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, drive root-cause analysis, and implement durable improvements to processes and systems.
  • Align production capacity with demand forecasting and customer commitments; balance inventory, production schedules, and procurement plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance in line with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic roadmaps, budgets, and resource allocations for scalable growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead and optimize all operational functions at Marie Originals. This leadership role is responsible for driving efficiency, scalability, and execution across the organization. You will oversee production, scheduling, procurement, and logistics, and will develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and scalability. You will lead and manage cross-functional teams, establish KPIs, and track performance to ensure alignment between production, customer demands, and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in manufacturing, production, or chemical environments, with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and people leadership skills. You will be comfortable driving continuous improvement initiatives and partnering with executive leadership to scale operations in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience in operations within manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or chemical industries.
• Demonstrated success in scaling operations, improving processes, and driving cost efficiency.
• Strong analytical, communication, and change-management capabilities; ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Track record of implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, and robust safety/compliance programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, CSP) are a plus.
