We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our platform operations team. This is a hands-on technical role where you will investigate production issues, analyze data discrepancies, trace application logic, and ensure our marketing platform operates accurately and reliably for hundreds of franchise and small business clients. A major part of this role involves diagnosing platform incidents, working with production data, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly. You will also play an important role in testing platform functionality, identifying bugs, and validating new features before they reach clients. In addition to these platform operations responsibilities, this position will also take ownership of advertising tracking infrastructure across the digital marketing platforms we support. This includes ensuring that conversion tracking and measurement systems are implemented correctly and remain accurate across client campaigns. You will own design and execution of test cases, root-cause analysis, and documentation to help engineering teams resolve issues efficiently. Over time you will gain deep knowledge of data flows, platform logic in C# and VB.NET, and frontend troubleshooting with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Independent contractor, remote.
Approximately 80% platform operations, debugging, and QA; 20% advertising tracking and conversion measurement.
You’ll also help implement and maintain advertising tracking for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and related tools (Google Tag Manager, GA4, CallRail). This role offers exposure to a large-scale marketing tech platform used by brands across North America and Europe, with opportunities to grow technical expertise in data accuracy, measurement, and platform reliability.
Ideal Candidate: 1–2 years in Technical Support, IT, Help Desk, or similar roles; strong SQL skills (complex joins, group by, having, CTEs, window functions); ability to read and trace C# and VB.NET logic; basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript; conversational English (B1–B2) with clear written communication; high attention to detail when working with production data; strong documentation habits; ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred experience with SQL, C#, VB.NET, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or advertising measurement tools is a plus. Familiarity with debugging website scripts and marketing measurement workflows is beneficial. We value high attention to detail, ownership of production data, structured problem solving, and strong documentation habits. Ideal candidates can operate independently in a remote setting while maintaining clear communication with international teammates. Formal education in systems engineering, computer science, or related tech fields is welcomed, including technical programs and graduates from SENA or equivalent institutions.
This independent contractor remote role collaborates with teams across the U.S. and Europe. You’ll work with real production data, contribute to end-to-end platform testing, and play a meaningful role in a global environment.
