Part-Time Social Media Content Creator with Marketing Focus (Luxury Travel | Remote)


About the Role

WeRemoto is partnering with one of our valued clients in the luxury travel industry to hire a Part-Time Social Content Creator with a Marketing Focus. This remote role is ideal for a social media content creator, digital marketing professional, or content coordinator who understands luxury branding, audience engagement, and content strategy.


You will fully own the brand’s social media and content marketing presence end to end, combining creative execution with marketing strategy. This is a remote, part-time position with the opportunity to extend working hours over time based on performance, trust, and business needs. Social media, particularly Instagram marketing, is the top priority, with additional support for newsletters, blogs, and future content initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Own and manage Instagram marketing as the primary platform, with secondary support for newsletters, blog content, and LinkedIn
  • Create original, engaging social media content, including posts, captions, stories, and reels tailored to a luxury travel audience
  • Develop content that supports brand awareness, audience engagement, and travel inspiration
  • Stay ahead of luxury travel trends, seasonal travel patterns, and emerging destinations
  • Proactively suggest and execute content marketing ideas with minimal supervision
  • Support live or near-live posting during travel, events, or trips, including stories and highlights
  • Promote new partnerships, collections, promotions, deals, and destination experiences

Content Planning & Organization

  • Build and maintain a consistent social media content calendar focused on engagement, growth, and brand storytelling
  • Plan and organize content aligned with digital marketing goals and peak engagement times
  • Work from shared files and folders, editing and publishing content independently
  • Repurpose travel information, advisor notes, and destination insights into client-facing marketing content

Newsletter & Brand Support

  • Support the creation and ongoing management of email newsletters and written content
  • Draft marketing-focused content that encourages client engagement, trip inquiries, and brand loyalty
  • Help evolve the brand voice across digital, written, and visual marketing channels

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, engagement, and growth
  • Adjust content strategy and digital marketing efforts based on performance data and audience insights

Future Growth Opportunities

  • Assist with blog creation and website content improvements
  • Help develop internal templates and resources, such as destination dining guides or travel resource documents
  • Potential to grow hours and responsibilities over time based on performance and interest


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, Digital Marketing Coordinator, or Content Strategist
  • Experience in luxury travel, lifestyle, hospitality, or premium brands strongly preferred
  • Mid-level experience with the ability to own content creation, planning, and execution end-to-end

  • Strong organizational, written storytelling, and verbal communication skills with advanced English proficiency (C1–C2)
  • Proficiency in Canva and other content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
  • Strong understanding of Instagram algorithms, stories, reels, and engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with social media planning tools, newsletter platforms, and content calendars
  • Basic understanding of SEO, content optimization, and analytics
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize work effectively
  • Reliable setup with a stable internet connection and your own laptop or desktop computer

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and analytics

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Location flexible, including Europe, as long as engagement timing is respected
