In this role, you’ll support a client’s ecommerce platform by building and evolving Golang-based GraphQL web services that power digital ordering channels and related customer experiences.

Day to day:

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer. You will primarily be tasked with building Golang-based GraphQL web services for the client’s ecommerce platform. You will help optimize digital ordering channels and drive technology innovations.
You will create scalable, interactive applications and write comprehensive unit tests. You will maintain these services while helping build new features for the applications. Additional tasks will include architecting, designing, optimizing, and refactoring code for peak performance, as well as evaluating new features based on priority.

Must haves:

5+ years of experience in back-end engineering, APIs, and web services.
  • Well-versed in Golang (or Node.js)
  • Experience consuming and creating GraphQL web services
  • Background in unit testing and TDD
  • Experience with microservices and CI/CD environments
  • Database knowledge: PostgreSQL
We’re looking for someone who can work independently, collaborate with engineering partners, and consistently deliver high-quality services. You should be comfortable thinking about performance, maintainability, and test coverage—while balancing day-to-day execution with architectural improvements.

Pluses:

  • React or React Native experience
  • AWS
