Dollar General, a leading U.S. retail company, is looking for a Responsys Content Author to join its digital marketing team. You will work closely with marketing, design, and technical teams to execute high-quality email campaigns aligned with brand standards across a large-scale consumer audience.

In this role, you will build and deploy email campaigns using Oracle Responsys, translating Figma designs into responsive HTML emails, managing audience segmentation, and ensuring timely campaign delivery. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate approvals, monitor performance, and support content updates in CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail, organization, and teamwork are key to delivering consistent and effective digital communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Create HTML email campaigns in Oracle Responsys using Figma assets and designs.
  • Perform audience segmentation, list segmentation, and campaign setup.
  • Manage routing and approvals with internal stakeholders.
  • Schedule and publish email campaigns in Responsys to meet company deadlines.
  • Monitor campaign performance and generate reports, dashboards, or analytics as needed.
  • Provide support for content updates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), if applicable.
  • Collaborate on CMS-related tasks on other platforms when necessary.
  • Collaborate with design and UX teams to maintain brand consistency across digital content.

Technical Skills:

  • Practical experience with Oracle Responsys, including:
  1. Audience segmentation
  2. Email creation and quality control
  3. Scheduling and publishing
  4. Reporting and performance analysis
  5. Ability to convert Figma designs into accurate, responsive emails.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple approval processes.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Experience with other CMS or CRM platforms if AEM is not used.
  • Knowledge of best practices for email development (responsiveness, accessibility, tagging).
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with design, marketing, and technology teams.
