Our dynamic team is growing and we are searching for the right individual to join our Spence Studio Team in Vancouver, BC, as a Jewelry Polisher. This is a long term, rewarding career opportunity.

As a Jewelry Polisher, your focus would be on polishing both newly created rings and rings sent in for maintenance. The successful candidate will be able to process a high volume of rings while maintaining an exceptional level of quality. They will have all the skills necessary to polish any ring, from plain bands to detailed engagement rings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in jewelry industry
  • Desire for continuous personal and professional development
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and efficient with time
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and interact closely with team members

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in polishing production area
  • Pre-polish and final polish jewelry
  • Support lead goldsmiths and other studio team members
  • Inspect job orders before and after processing to ensure quality standards are achieved
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report any safety issues to the Production Manager
  • Report discrepancies to the Production Manager
  • Other duties as instructed by the Production Manager

Compensation

  • The pay range for this position is $24 per hour
  • The successful candidate's starting pay rate will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
