SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with React and modern frontend testing
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based testing infrastructure
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Strong proficiency in unit testing and integration testing
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of API testing and tools (REST, GraphQL, Postman, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies

Key Responsibilities

Write reusable automated test scripts
collaborate with developers, product owners and devops engineers
Support regression, integration and end to end testing efforts
Contribute to test planning, test strategy and quality best practices
Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools
• Knowledge of testing metrics and reporting
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of security testing and OWASP principles
• Previous experience in a similar SDET role in a fast-paced environment
