About the Role

The Director of Credit Risk will play a critical role in shaping and leading Made Card’s credit risk strategy across the customer lifecycle. You’ll drive underwriting, pricing, segmentation, and decisioning for our credit card product while overseeing performance of the credit portfolio.

  • Model Decisioning: Build, own, and continuously improve credit risk models, decision thresholds, and cutoffs.

  • Portfolio Performance: Develop and monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights to maintain portfolio quality and profitability.

  • Collections Strategy: Develop data-driven, customer-focused strategies that reduce delinquencies and charge-offs.

  • Risk operations: Conduct manual reviews (underwriting, limit increases etc.), document exceptions, handle credit bureau disputes, set up payment plans.

Ideal Background

  • 2+ years of experience in consumer lending or credit risk, with a proven track record in fintech environments.

  • Strong experience in at least one dimension of the credit lifecycle: underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, and collections

  • Hands-on experience with credit risk models and credit bureau data (traditional and alternative).

  • Strong technical acumen: pull data, analyze, create KPIs, create reporting tools (Python, SQL knowledge a plus)

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategies and communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We understand that not everyone comes from a traditional background. If you are a rockstar with a non-traditional path, we'd love to talk to you!

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, credit cards, real estate, or home services.

  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy or regulated marketing environments.

  • Passion for credit cards, rewards, or homeownership-related products.

Wealthsimple's mission is to help everyone achieve financial freedom – by making financial services simple, transparent, and low-cost. We're Canada's largest fintech, trusted by over 3 million clients with more than $100 billion in assets. We move fast, we own our work, and we care deeply about the people using our products. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual and learn more about how we work.

About the team

The AI Systems team is focused on building Wealthsimple's first-party AI tools and platforms. We design, develop, and operate the systems that bring AI capabilities directly into the hands of our teams and clients - from intelligent assistants and workflow automation to internal productivity tools powered by large language models.

We're looking for software developers who are excited about building production-grade AI systems end-to-end: from frontend interfaces to backend services, infrastructure to deployment. This isn't a research role - it's a hands-on engineering role where you'll ship real products, collaborate with stakeholders across the company, and continuously evolve our AI platform as the technology and our needs grow.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Design, build, and operate first-party AI tools and platforms that serve internal teams and Wealthsimple clients.

  • Develop full-stack features across React frontends and Golang backend services, delivering complete, production-ready systems.

  • Work closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and business teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven features and translate them into working software.

  • Build and maintain containerized microservices, ensuring our AI platforms are reliable, scalable, and easy to deploy.

  • Integrate large language models and other AI capabilities into our tools through well-designed APIs and service layers.

  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions, helping shape how AI systems are built and operated at Wealthsimple.

  • Iterate quickly on new features and prototypes, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.

  • Establish patterns and best practices for AI system development that other teams can adopt.

Our technologies:

  • React for frontend development

  • Golang for backend services

  • Container-based architecture (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • AWS infrastructure

  • PostgreSQL and Redis for data persistence and caching

  • LLM APIs and AI/ML tooling

  • Datadog, Sentry, and Mixpanel for monitoring and observability

  • AI-assisted development workflow

What you bring:

  • Experience building and shipping production software as a full-stack or backend-focused developer.

  • Strong proficiency in Golang and React, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on both.

  • Hands-on experience with containerized architectures (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment patterns.

  • Interest in or experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integrations, or building AI-powered products.

  • Ability to work across the full stack - from crafting user interfaces to designing APIs and backend services.

  • A product-oriented mindset: you care about the end-user experience and work with stakeholders to deliver features that solve real problems.

  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities and technology evolve quickly.

Nice-to-have's:

  • Experience building developer tools, internal platforms, or productivity software.

  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.

  • Background in building event-driven or streaming architectures.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.

  • Background in financial services or regulated industries.

Ternary is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack, to join our team. Enterprises rely on Ternary to gain visibility, control, and optimization across their technology investments. As organizations scale their cloud, SaaS, and AI spending, Ternary provides the intelligence platform that helps finance and engineering leaders govern and maximize the value of their technology estate.

About us: We move fast, hold a high bar, and care deeply about the problems our customers are trying to solve. Our team brings together engineers, financial analysts, and operators who've built at scale before — and we're doing it again with more ambition. We value directness, ownership, and the kind of judgment that knows when to go fast and when to slow down and get it right. If you want to shape both the product and the culture of a company at an inflection point — where the decisions you make now will define how we scale — this is the right place.

Our Stack: We build on React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, BigQuery, and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with some of these is helpful context. We don't expect expertise in all of them, but knowing the landscape will help you hit the ground running.

You:

  • 10+ years of delivering scalable web applications and platform services across early-stage and enterprise companies, with expertise in designing and implementing data and analytics platforms, including BigQuery, large-scale data warehousing, and pipelines that support analytics and product insights.

  • Experience building backend services in Golang.

  • Passionate about learning new knowledge and skills, skilled at quickly ramping up in new areas.

  • Bias for action — address ambiguity and hard conversations directly, and actively promote these traits across the engineering organization.

  • Experience interacting with customers and business leads.

  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

  • Regularly consider business lenses and tradeoffs, even for deeply technical engineering problems.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Staff Engineer, you will be a technical anchor on our core platform — driving architectural decisions that determine how we scale to serve enterprise finance and engineering buyers.

  • Lead critical and large-scale complex projects, providing both hands-on technical expertise and end-to-end project execution.

  • Contribute across the stack, with core focus on API design, BigQuery and modern data warehousing, and React/TypeScript front-end development — with working familiarity across relational and non-relational databases, authentication, CI/CD, and customer-facing features.

  • Drive and own end-to-end delivery of features, including planning, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, adoption, and performance in production.

  • Make informed tradeoffs between tactical and strategic technical approaches, balancing long-term scalability with immediate business needs.

  • Own the architecture and quality bar of the platform, with primary accountability for the web application layer.

  • Uphold a high bar by participating in technical discussions, providing feedback on specs, and making recommendations while uplifting and mentoring junior team members.

Comp and benefits:

  • Company-sponsored travel to interact with colleagues several times a year.

  • We provide generous health benefits, 401(k) plan, and a WFH budget for you to set up your home office (not available for contract or short term roles such as internships).

  • Equity compensation so that all employees can participate in Ternary's success (not available for contract or short term roles such as internships).

  • The team culture is the best of what you would expect to see at a startup combined with a level of maturity you would see at a much larger company.

At Ternary, we value diversity. We are an equal opportunity employer: we do not discriminate on the basis of racial orientation, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. Ternary is a remote-first company.

Full Stack Product Engineer

About Pivotal Health

Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.

Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, they’re often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.

Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement they’re entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams.

Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. We’re building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build new products at Pivotal from the ground up.

This role sits on the AI/ML Engineering team. You’ll work on new product surfaces that combine software, data, workflow design, and AI to solve high-value customer problems. The role is full stack, but intentionally backend-leaning. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable owning product behavior end to end while being especially strong in APIs, backend systems, data flows, and the logic that makes great products actually work.

This is a high-ambiguity, high-velocity role. You will not be handed perfectly scoped tickets or asked to maintain a mature product in a narrow lane. You’ll help shape what we build, how we build it, and how quickly we can turn ideas into valuable product experiences. The upside is massive impact: the products you work on can materially change how the company operates and how customers experience Pivotal.

We also want someone who is AI-first in how they work. Part of this team’s job is building AI-powered products, but part of it is also helping the company get dramatically better at using AI. We want a product engineer who is personally fluent with AI tools and can use them to move faster, think better, and build stronger products.

What You’ll Do

  • Build new product experiences from 0 to 1 across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.

  • Design and implement backend systems that power product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Contribute to frontend product development in React-based applications, especially where product quality depends on tight frontend-backend iteration.

  • Work closely with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped product.

  • Prototype quickly, then harden what works into maintainable product systems.

  • Build internal and customer-facing workflows that use AI, structured data, and software automation to increase leverage.

  • Help define product requirements through direct technical judgment, not just implementation after decisions are made.

  • Improve product quality through instrumentation, testing, thoughtful system design, and strong engineering hygiene.

  • Use AI actively in your own workflow for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration.

  • Raise the team’s velocity by bringing AI-native working habits, practical engineering judgment, and strong product instincts.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6 to 12 months, strong outcomes in this role would include:

  • shipping meaningful new product capabilities quickly

  • taking ownership of backend-heavy product surfaces with minimal oversight

  • helping turn vague opportunities into real shipped workflows

  • improving product quality and speed through strong engineering execution

  • contributing to a team culture that is highly effective at using AI to build and learn faster

  • becoming a trusted technical partner to product, design, and operations in a fast-moving environment

Who You Are

  • You are a strong product-minded software engineer who likes building things that users feel directly.

  • You are full stack, but your center of gravity is backend systems and product logic.

  • You are comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments and can make good decisions without waiting for perfect clarity.

  • You have a high ownership mindset and like driving work from rough idea to production.

  • You care about product quality, not just technical elegance.

  • You are an AI power user yourself. You actively use AI in your day-to-day work and have strong judgment about how it can accelerate engineering and product development.

  • You communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional partners.

  • You want to be in an environment where a great engineer can have outsized impact very quickly.

We’d Be Especially Excited If You Have

  • strong backend experience in Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systems

  • experience building product backends, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logic

  • experience contributing meaningfully to modern React-based frontend applications

  • experience with TypeScript, React Router or Remix-style frameworks, and product UI development

  • experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systems

  • experience with GCP or similar cloud environments

  • experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational software

  • experience in fast-moving startup environments where engineers help define the product, not just implement it

  • experience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains

Why This Role Is Interesting

  • You’ll work on new products, not just incremental maintenance.

  • The problems are meaningful, messy, and important. They sit close to real customer and business pain.

  • You’ll have real room to shape direction. This is a role for someone who wants to help create, not just execute.

  • The team sits at the intersection of AI, product, data, and operations, which creates unusual leverage for strong engineers.

  • The pace is fast, the ambiguity is real, and the impact can be massive.

  • You’ll be able to use both sides of your skill set: deep backend engineering and pragmatic full stack product development.

Example Technical Environment

Our current environment includes technologies like:

  • Python and FastAPI on the backend

  • PostgreSQL and relational data models

  • React-based web applications with modern routing and TypeScript

  • GCP-hosted services and internal APIs

  • AI and workflow systems that combine application logic, structured data, and model-backed experiences

You do not need to match this stack perfectly, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and shipping in this kind of environment.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubs–Los Angeles and New York–we remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description.

If you’re excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive compensation, including equity

  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Retirement savings plan through 401(k)

  • Flexible time off

  • Opportunities for company-wide connection and events

Ready to Make an Impact?
We’re building something meaningful; and we want you on the team.

Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and let’s transform healthcare reimbursement together.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems and services.

  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC), deployment pipelines, and automation to support continuous delivery, scalability, and disaster recovery.

  • Respond to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive postmortems to ensure lessons learned are applied.

  • Implement and enforce operational best practices: observability, logging, metrics, alerting, capacity planning, failover strategies, and backups.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure infrastructure meets reliability, compliance, and security standards.

  • Support service scaling, database operations, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), networking, and microservices orchestration.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent).

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar).

  • Experience with either FluxCD or ArgoCD for GitOps-based delivery.

  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and reliability patterns.

  • Experience setting up monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, distributed tracing).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to incidents under pressure.

  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies, database management, and secure operations.

Other Skills

  • Ownership mindset: proactive, responsible, and committed to system reliability.

  • Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

  • High integrity, attention to detail, and passion for fintech and programmable banking systems.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in fintech, banking, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with compliance, security, and data protection best practices.

  • Experience with high-availability, high-throughput systems, or financial infrastructure.

  • Exposure to blockchain or crypto systems integrated with banking.

  • Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance under rapid growth.

Why Pave Bank?

  • Work alongside a founding team from Monzo and BigPay, bringing top-tier fintech expertise.

  • Tackle real-world reliability challenges in a regulated, fast-growing fintech environment.

Data Analyst
  • Stio®
  • Denver, Denver, Colorado, United States
virtual assistant exec analyst sys admin
About Us

Stio® is an omni-channel mountain brand that designs, develops and sells beautiful, functional, and innovative apparel, footwear and other accessories infused with the soul of the mountain lifestyle. With headquarters in Jackson, Wyoming, Stio draws inspiration from the surrounding Teton Range and offers product via Stio.com, catalog, B2B and its Mountain Studio® retail locations.

We live and love mountain life, and as such see ourselves as caretakers of the resources that provide it. We are proud partners of Protect Our Winters and the Conservation Alliance among many other organizations. We have a strong preferred materials platform, use Bluesign® approved textiles wherever possible, audit our supply chains for best practices, and operate our workplaces responsibly.

We think that outside is the best side and that you can't improve on nature. It's good for mind, body and soul, and it's our responsibility to help enable access for all people, regardless of race, gender, beliefs, background or ability. We strive for inclusion at Stio and in our local and national communities.

YOUR ROLE

The Data Analyst is a key early member of Stio's Data & Analytics team, working alongside the Director of Data & Analytics to expand how the business uses data to make decisions. This is a full-stack, horizontal role: the work spans data infrastructure (ingestion, modeling, transformation) through analysis, BI development, and direct stakeholder partnership across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Inventory Planning, and B2B. You'll work where the highest-leverage problems are and grow the breadth and depth of the analytics function in the process.

You'll work in a stack built around Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Power BI, GitHub, and increasingly Python in addition to SQL and R. AI-assisted development is the default form factor for the team. Most of the code we ship is written collaboratively with AI agents in tools like Claude Code, then reviewed, tested, and iterated. The expectation is not that you arrive an expert in AI tooling. The expectation is that you bring strong fundamentals — the kind of data and modeling intuition that lets you catch silently wrong AI output that runs cleanly and passes tests — and that you're genuinely curious about how this part of the craft is evolving. As an early team member, you'll help shape how we work in this environment, not just execute someone else's playbook.

We're looking for an analyst who connects what they see in the data to the bigger picture and who has a strong bias for tying analysis to action. The right person doesn't hesitate to sweep the floor (fix a broken Excel link), isn't afraid to question the status quo (does this metric actually measure what it claims to?), and would rather quickly solve a pressing business problem with simple analysis than build a sophisticated model that collects dust. A foundation of technical skills is essential. Even more important is an eagerness to learn new things, sound judgment under ambiguity, and a desire to drive positive progress at Stio.

This is a remote role that is part of the Finance department and reports to the Director of Data & Analytics.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with stakeholders across the business (Product Development, Marketing, DTC, B2B, Finance, Operations, Inventory Planning) to translate ambiguous questions into well-defined analyses, dashboards, and data products. You'll own these end-to-end: scoping, building, validating, and communicating findings
  • Build and maintain dbt models that turn raw source-system data into trustworthy, well-documented datasets. Write the tests and documentation that let both humans and AI agents downstream rely on the work
  • Develop and maintain the semantic context, dashboards, and reports that the rest of the business uses to operate day-to-day
  • Own metric definitions and business semantics. Drive alignment when stakeholders disagree on what a definition or number means
  • Review and harden AI-generated SQL, dbt models, and Python code with the judgment to catch issues that pass tests but are semantically wrong. The majority of your output will be code you've collaborated on with AI agents, and you'll bring the data intuition that makes that work trustworthy
  • Investigate ambiguous data questions where the answer isn't in the schema: talk to source-system owners, investigate edge cases, reconcile conflicting definitions, and improve our model of the business
  • Help build and maintain Stio's data infrastructure — currently Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, R, and Python — and contribute to decisions about where the stack should evolve
  • Improve data governance for both the Data & Analytics team and the business at large by creating documentation that's actually useful and that AI agents can consume as context for future work
  • Continuously develop your skills as the practice of data analytics evolves. This is a real part of the job, not something done on the side

Your Skills And Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role
  • Advanced SQL: CTEs, window functions, comfortable wrangling messy real-world data, can read and reason about query plans well enough to know when something is off
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, including writing models, tests, and documentation. You don't need to have built a dbt project from scratch, but you should be comfortable contributing to one and know what good looks like
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, or similar)
  • Version control with Git/GitHub as part of your normal workflow
  • Experience as a developer with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Omni, or similar)
  • A real point of view on AI-assisted development for analytics work — what it's actually good at, where it falls down, what you do to make the output trustworthy
  • History of building collaborative, trusting relationships with non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort presenting findings to leadership verbally, in writing, and visually

Preferred Additional Skills And Experience

Though not required, we would consider the following as an added plus:

  • Working knowledge of Python and/or R for analysis
  • Experience with the components of our data stack (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, Python, R, Claude Code, Codex)
  • Experience with some of the systems we use: NetSuite, Shopify, Google Analytics, Segment, Klaviyo
  • Professional experience at a DTC or omni-channel retail, apparel, footwear, or outdoor company
  • Experience working in a small or solo data team where you owned the work end-to-end

THE FINE PRINT

  • Must be able to work in a stationary position 50% - 75% of the work day
  • Medical, Dental Vision plans
  • Company Paid Long Term Disability
  • Employee Assistance Programs
  • 401k with Match
  • Generous paid time off policies
  • Gear test, perks and more

We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.

This job description is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job. While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, we reserve the right to revise the job or to require that other or different tasks be performed. Stio is an equal opportunity employer of all qualified individuals, including minorities, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veterans & individuals with disabilities.

Note: Please refer to your Subcontract Agreement, article 6.4.1.a, which states “Off-Site Discount: 5% (this discount is applicable to all requirements, and applies when the assigned personnel are permitted to work Off-Site, such as at- home)". Please be sure to price this discount in your overall price proposal when submitting bids against off-site RFQs

Period of Performance: EDC + 4 months. Estimated start date: 15 July 2026 (tentative)

Required Start Date: 15 July 2026 (tentative)

Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET

SECTION 1 – INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) is dedicated to acquiring, deploying, and defending communication systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands. It operates on the frontlines against cyber-attacks, collaborating closely with governments and industry to prevent future debilitating attacks. The NCI Agency plays a crucial role in maintaining NATO's technological edge and ensuring the collective defence and crisis management capabilities of the Alliance. In pursuit of this mission, NCIA requires specialized advisory services to enhance its interim workforce capacity.

The Cyber Operations Management System (COMS) demonstration is a high priority task which aims at:

  • Building a mock-up environment on the NATO Software Factory to replicate the functionalities that exist in the operational version of COMS today.
  • Capturing the requirements and demonstrating to industry the functionalities of the current capabilities by demonstrating on the mock-up environment.

COMS operates on the NCSC NROP and NCSC NSOP CIS and is accessible from NATO-wide stakeholders from their respective low-side and high-side environments. COMS supports Cyber Incident Response and Defensive Cyber Operations and is therefore a critical component of the NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) today and the NATO Integrated Cyber Defence Centre (NICC) tomorrow.

1.2 Scope of Work

The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to acquire contractor support to build a mock-up environment of the current COMS NR and COMS NS. Based on the mock-up of the environment, the contractor shall identify and capture the requirements of what COMS is able to deliver today in a video demo to be presented at a planned industry engagement day.

SECTION 2 – PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Deliverable D1: Mock-up of COMS NR/NS Environment on the NATO Software Factory

The contractor shall build a mock-up environment that simulates what is doable today on COMS NR and COMS NS, including the relation between Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, and all plugins currently installed on the production environment. It will notably replicate all Jira processes supporting the execution of the DEFEND branch missions, as well as all other supporting Jira processes (including but not limited to 'STAGIL assets' projects). It will also replicate the mechanism allowing low-side workflows tracking from the high-side with the associated hand-over/take-over mechanism, the dynamic wiki page publications based on Jira issues changes, and the use of dynamic page templates (scaffolding/reporting-based).

Acceptance Criteria D1

All existing processes at the first day of Contract Award on COMS (Jira) NR and COMS (Jira) NS are replicated on the mock-up environment. All data-types used for any of these processes have corresponding mock-up data implemented that will allow at least 10 different instances of each process to be run without using the same data twice. Any Confluence space and pages used in support of these processes must also exist on the mock-up environment, including dynamic elements, labelling, and all plugins as on production. The simulation of the Data diode and the replication mechanism must be implemented.

Due Date: 60 days from Base Period EDC

Payment Milestone: 40% of contract value. After deliverable completion and signed Delivery Acceptance Sheet (DAS).

2.2 Deliverable D2: Identification and Documentation of the COMS Requirements

Based on the mock-up environment established in D1, the contractor shall identify and capture the functional and non-functional requirements of what COMS is able to deliver today into a NATO AQAP conforming format that is readable and unambiguously understandable by a third-party company having no prior knowledge of NCSC, NCIA, or NATO. The requirements shall be organized in logical groups to facilitate the production of a video in D3. The requirements shall be written such that a third party could recreate, using one or multiple technical capabilities, a solution that would satisfy the identified requirements. The requirements will be captured within the COMS Confluence environment until final review is agreed. The final deliverable will be in Word document format.

Acceptance Criteria D2

The requirements shall meet the following principles: each must be unique, testable, verifiable, unambiguous, traceable, and necessary in accordance with the relevant NATO AQAP.

Due Date: 45 days from Base Period EDC

Payment Milestone: 20% of contract value. After deliverable completion and signed DAS.

2.3 Deliverable D3: Creation of a Video Demonstrating the Identified Requirements in D2

The contractor shall produce a recorded video introducing what COMS is today, and going through the different requirements captured in D2. The requirements document shall identify the timestamp in the video at which each requirement is being presented. The video in D3 and the requirements in D2 will be made available to industry as part of pre-solicitation industry engagements.

The video shall be securely hosted by the contractor. A copy shall be delivered to NCIA. The video shall remain available on the contractor-hosted platform, and as per D4, for a duration of contract end plus 2 months.

Acceptance Criteria D3

The video shall be endorsed by NCIA. Minimum resolution: 1920x1080p using H.264/AVC encoding. Supporting audio shall be a minimum of 44 kHz. The narrator must have STANAG 6001 Speaking skills of level 4 minimum. The content of the material shall meet or exceed ISO 40180, and cover all requirements identified and endorsed in D2.

Due Date: 70 days from Base Period EDC

Payment Milestone: 20% of contract value. After deliverable completion and signed DAS.

2.4 Deliverable D4: Demonstration of the COMS Mock-up Environment

The contractor shall present a live demo of the COMS mock-up environment as part of an industry engagement day organized by NCIA. The demo will take place online. The live demo shall cover the points of the video in D3, with an authorized level of interaction (questions from industry). The Q&A session may be organized at the end of or during the demo, as best determined by the contractor.

NCIA is responsible for inviting industry and setting the date of the demo. The contractor shall ensure availability and full working condition of the environment at the time of the demo. Depending on the risk of non-availability, an alternate date may be set by common agreement between NCIA and the contractor. NCIA will be present during the demo to answer questions.

Acceptance Criteria D4

The live demo occurred and all invited industry members who confirmed attendance were able to attend. No disruption of video or audio of more than 5 seconds, and no dropping of participant connections caused by the contractor, occurred.

Due Date: 100 days from Base Period EDC

Payment Milestone: 20% of contract value. After deliverable completion and signed DAS.

SECTION 3 – CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS

3.1 Contractor Experience

[See Requirements]

3.2 Personnel Requirements

The Contractor shall determine and provide the appropriate number and composition of personnel — possessing the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience — to successfully fulfil all requirements of this effort, taking into consideration the very tight delivery timeline. NCIA expects 3 persons to work on this SOW to meet the deadlines. The Contractor shall ensure that the proposed team is capable of delivering high-quality, timely, and fully compliant deliverables as specified in this SOW.

Only the company's project manager must hold a NATO SECRET security clearance, necessary to access the production environment. Other contractor staff must be authorized at NATO RESTRICTED level.

The work shall be executed fully at the contractor's facilities.

SECTION 4 – PROJECT MILESTONES AND DELIVERABLES

Deliverable D1: Mock-up of COMS NR/NS environment on the NATO Software Factory. Due: 60 days from Base Period EDC. Payment: 40% of contract value.

Deliverable D2: Identification and documentation of the COMS requirements. Due: 45 days from Base Period EDC. Payment: 20% of contract value.

Deliverable D3: Creation of a video demonstrating the identified requirements in D2. Due: 70 days from Base Period EDC. Payment: 20% of contract value.

Deliverable D4: Demonstration to selected industry members of the COMS mock-up environment. Due: 100 days from Base Period EDC. Payment: 20% of contract value.

Payment is dependent upon successful acceptance of each deliverable and the signed Delivery Acceptance Sheet (DAS). Invoices shall be accompanied by the DAS, signed by the contractor and the NCIA POC.

SECTION 5 – COORDINATION AND REPORTING

Reporting mechanisms will be defined during the kick-off meeting.

SECTION 6 – SCHEDULE

The Task Order will be effective immediately after contract signature. The estimated starting date is 15 July 2026 (tentative), with a period of performance of EDC + 4 months.

SECTION 7 – TRAVEL

There is no travel expected. Exceptionally, if any travel is required, costs are considered to be included in the overall contract price and will not be reimbursed separately.

  • NCIA to deliver the laptops necessary to access the NATO Software Factory (maximum 3 laptops).
  • NCIA to provide technical support (1 hour per working day) to assist the contractor in delivering on scope, time, schedule, and expected quality.

Data Analyst
  • Stio
  • Remote
analyst sys admin python full stack

We think that outside is the best side and that you can’t improve on nature. It’s good for mind, body and soul, and it’s our responsibility to help enable access for all people, regardless of race, gender, beliefs, background or ability. We strive for inclusion at Stio and in our local and national communities.

YOUR ROLE

The Data Analyst is a key early member of Stio’s Data & Analytics team, working alongside the Director of Data & Analytics to expand how the business uses data to make decisions. This is a full-stack, horizontal role: the work spans data infrastructure (ingestion, modeling, transformation) through analysis, BI development, and direct stakeholder partnership across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Inventory Planning, and B2B. You’ll work where the highest-leverage problems are and grow the breadth and depth of the analytics function in the process.

You’ll work in a stack built around Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Power BI, GitHub, and increasingly Python in addition to SQL and R. AI-assisted development is the default form factor for the team. Most of the code we ship is written collaboratively with AI agents in tools like Claude Code, then reviewed, tested, and iterated. The expectation is not that you arrive an expert in AI tooling. The expectation is that you bring strong fundamentals — the kind of data and modeling intuition that lets you catch silently wrong AI output that runs cleanly and passes tests — and that you’re genuinely curious about how this part of the craft is evolving. As an early team member, you’ll help shape how we work in this environment, not just execute someone else’s playbook.

We’re looking for an analyst who connects what they see in the data to the bigger picture and who has a strong bias for tying analysis to action. The right person doesn’t hesitate to sweep the floor (fix a broken Excel link), isn’t afraid to question the status quo (does this metric actually measure what it claims to?), and would rather quickly solve a pressing business problem with simple analysis than build a sophisticated model that collects dust.

You’ll own these end-to-end: scoping, building, validating, and communicating findings.
  • Build and maintain dbt models that turn raw source-system data into trustworthy, well-documented datasets. Write the tests and documentation that let both humans and AI agents downstream rely on the work.
  • Develop and maintain the semantic context, dashboards, and reports that the rest of the business uses to operate day-to-day.
  • Own metric definitions and business semantics. Drive alignment when stakeholders disagree on what a definition or number means.
  • Review and harden AI-generated SQL, dbt models, and Python code with the judgment to catch issues that pass tests but are semantically wrong. The majority of your output will be code you’ve collaborated on with AI agents, and you’ll bring the data intuition that makes that work trustworthy.
  • Investigate ambiguous data questions where the answer isn’t in the schema: talk to source-system owners, investigate edge cases, reconcile conflicting definitions, and improve our model of the business.
  • Help build and maintain Stio’s data infrastructure — currently Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, R, and Python — and contribute to decisions about where the stack should evolve.
  • Improve data governance for both the Data & Analytics team and the business at large by creating documentation that’s actually useful and that AI agents can consume as context for future work.
  • Continuously develop your skills as the practice of data analytics evolves. This is a real part of the job, not something done on the side.

You don’t need to have built a dbt project from scratch, but you should be comfortable contributing to one and know what good looks like
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, or similar)
  • Version control with Git/GitHub as part of your normal workflow
  • Experience as a developer with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Omni, or similar)
  • A real point of view on AI-assisted development for analytics work — what it’s actually good at, where it falls down, what you do to make the output trustworthy

Preguntas frecuentes
