Founding Engineer (US)
Build the AI platform that's rewriting a $50B industry
Salary range - $180-220k USD + Equity + Benefits
About Haast
We're building one of the first agentic systems for enterprise legal and compliance teams that actually automates their manual work. End-to-end. Delivering 80% faster compliance reviews and 4x productivity gains.
We recently closed a $12M USD Series A (Peak XV Partners, DST Global, Airtree) and are growing fast in the US; building the infrastructure that will completely re-define how enterprises think about compliance.
Think Canva for design. Atlassian for projects. Haast for compliance.
The Problem
Compliance is a $50B global challenge. Enterprise legal and compliance teams spend a significant amount of time manually reviewing documents against policy, spotting regulatory risk, and signing off on content before go-to-market. It's painful and it's mission-critical.
We're building the infrastructure that makes this manageable at scale. You'll be working on systems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity for some of the world's largest organisations.
The Role
As our first US based Engineer; you'll be the technical bridge between our product vision and our customers' reality.
You're a full-stack engineer who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution, building our platform while staying connected to the teams actually using it.
You'll split your time between heads-down building (shipping code that matters) and being engaged with customers, understanding their pain points firsthand, iterating on features in real-time, and using that feedback to shape our product direction.
You'll own end-to-end technical decisions: designing systems, shipping to production, and iterating based on direct customer interaction.
This is high-autonomy work. You'll collaborate directly with our founding team, move at startup velocity, and have genuine influence over both our architecture and product roadmap.
What You'll Own
Design, architect, and ship full-stack features that directly solve our customers compliance challenges
Own the technical relationship with key customers; implementing solutions, gathering requirements, and translating feedback into product improvements
Build scalable services and APIs that power our LLM compliance platform while keeping the customer experience front and center
Make high-impact technical decisions quickly, knowing that you'll be accountable to both our engineering standards and our customers
Challenge assumptions on "why" and "how", you'll directly influence what we build and how we build it
Shape our product roadmap and engineering practices as we scale from Series A to market leadership
Who We're Looking For
You've built full-stack systems at meaningful scale; you're equally comfortable architecting backend services and shipping frontend code that customers interact with daily
You're deep on one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, and you're fluent enough across the stack to own features end-to-end
You understand APIs, distributed systems, and the tradeoffs between speed and reliability in production environments
You genuinely enjoy working with customers; you're not just shipping features, you want to understand the human problem you're solving
You've shipped in fast-moving environments and understand what it takes to move quickly without breaking things
You're curious about how LLMs work and excited about building practical applications on top of them, not just the theory
Why Join Haast
Competitive benefits: PTO, Health, Dental, Vision, 401k
Real impact, day one: Your code runs inside the workflows of major global enterprises immediately. You're solving mission-critical compliance problems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity.
Forward-deployed influence: You'll spend time with customers, understanding their pain points and having direct input into product decisions. Your customer insights will shape our roadmap.
Equity upside: We're building a generational company in a $50B market. You'll own a meaningful stake in that value creation and be part of the defines how Haast scales. We believe in sharing success with the people who build it.
Exceptional learning velocity: You'll learn more about scaling systems, working with customers, building products, and navigating the demands of a fast-growing startup in 12 months here than most roles offer in three years.
Engineering-driven culture: No red tape. We hire smart people and get out of their way. Your voice matters in how we build.
Flexibility and community: Fully remote across the US or Canada.
How to Apply
We're looking for people who've shipped things they're proud of and want to work on a problem that genuinely matters.

Your CV
A brief note on this question: Tell us about a time you worked with customers to ship something they actually needed. What did it take to achieve the outcome?
No closing date. We review applications on a rolling basis.
At Haast, we believe bold ideas come from diverse perspectives. We're committed to building a team that reflects the world we work in. Even if you don't tick every box, we'd love to hear from you.

Coding and scripting proficiency (TypeScript, Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud security (GCP preferred) and securing distributed systems.
Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and incident management best practices.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-focused startup environment, where adaptability and security ownership are essential.
What We Offer
Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a high-growth company
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
Flexible PTO and paid family leave
Home office & equipment stipend
Hybrid NYC office culture (3 days in-office/week) with direct access to leadership
In-Office Lunch & Dinner Provided

Senior Site Reliability Engineer - AI Infrastructure
Location: Global Remote / San Francisco · Full-Time
About Andromeda
Andromeda Cluster was founded by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross to give early-stage startups access to the kind of scaled AI infrastructure once reserved only for hyperscalers.
We began with a single managed cluster â but it filled almost instantly. Since then, weâve been quietly building the systems, network, and orchestration layer that makes the worldâs AI infrastructure more accessible.
Today, Andromeda works with leading AI labs, data centers, and cloud providers to deliver compute when and where itâs needed most. Our platform routes training and inference jobs across global supply, unlocking flexibility and efficiency in one of the fastest-growing markets on earth.
Our long-term vision is to build the liquidity layer for global AI compute â a marketplace that moves the infrastructure and workloads powering AGI not dissimilar to the flows of capital in the worldâs financial markets.
We are expanding to new frontiers to find the brightest that work in AI infrastructure, research and engineering.
The Role
This is not a generalist SRE role.
You will design, operate, and debug large-scale GPU infrastructure used for distributed training and inference, working directly with customers pushing the limits of modern AI systems.
Weâre looking for engineers who have personally run GPU clusters in production, understand the failure modes of distributed training, and can reason about performance from network fabric â kernel â framework.
What Youâll Own
GPU Cluster Architecture: Design and evolve multi-provider, multi-region GPU compute clusters optimized for large-scale training. Make topology-aware scheduling, networking, and storage decisions that directly impact training throughput and cost efficiency.
Customer Technical Partnership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers running large-scale training workloads. Onboard, troubleshoot, and optimize, often in real time.
Reliability & Performance Engineering: Define SLOs and error budgets that account for the unique failure modes of GPU infrastructure (ECC errors, NVLink degradation, NCCL timeouts). Own capacity planning across heterogeneous GPU fleets optimized for training throughput.
Networking & Fabric Health: Ensure the health and performance of high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink) that underpin distributed training. Diagnose and resolve fabric-level issues that degrade collective operations.
Observability: Build deep visibility into GPU utilization, memory pressure, interconnect throughput, training job performance, and hardware health. Go well beyond standard infrastructure metrics.
Automation & Tooling: Build production-grade automation for cluster provisioning, GPU health checks, job scheduling, self-healing, and firmware/driver lifecycle management.
Incident Leadership: Lead incident response for complex, multi-layer failures spanning hardware, networking, orchestration, and ML frameworks. Drive blameless postmortems and systemic fixes.
What Weâre Looking For
GPU Systems Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience operating large-scale GPU clusters (NVIDIA A100/H100/B200 or equivalent). You understand GPU memory hierarchies, ECC behavior, thermal throttling, and hardware failure modes from direct experience not documentation.
High-Performance Networking: Production experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, or NVLink fabrics in the context of distributed training. You can diagnose why an all-reduce is slow, identify a degraded link in a fat-tree topology, and reason about congestion control at scale.
Distributed Training & ML Frameworks: Working knowledge of how large training jobs actually run â NCCL, CUDA, PyTorch distributed, DeepSpeed, Megatron, FSDP, or similar. You don't need to write the models, but you need to understand what's happening at the systems level when a 1,000-GPU training run stalls.
Linux & Systems Internals: Expert-level Linux knowledge: kernel tuning, driver management (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA toolkit), cgroup/namespace internals, performance profiling at the syscall and hardware level.
Kubernetes & Orchestration: Strong experience running Kubernetes in production with GPU workloads, including device plugins, topology-aware scheduling, multi-cluster federation, and custom operators. Experience with Slurm or other HPC schedulers is equally valued.
Automation & Software Engineering: Strong engineering skills in Python, Go, or Bash. You build production-grade tools and services, not just scripts. Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or equivalent).
Observability & Monitoring: Hands-on experience building monitoring and alerting for GPU infrastructure, not just Prometheus/Grafana basics, but GPU-specific telemetry (DCGM, nvidia-smi, fabric manager metrics) integrated into actionable dashboards.
Incident Management: Proven track record leading incident response for complex distributed systems where the failure could be in hardware, firmware, networking, drivers, orchestration, or application code and you need to narrow it down fast.
Strong Candidates May Have
Distributed Storage: Experience with high-performance parallel file systems (VAST, Weka, Lustre, GPFS) and the checkpoint I/O and data-loading bottlenecks that come with large training runs.
Training Optimization: Experience profiling and optimizing distributed training performance: identifying stragglers, tuning collective communication strategies, improving MFU (Model FLOPs Utilization), and reducing idle GPU time across large runs.
Cluster Buildout & Hardware: Experience involved in physical cluster design - rack layout, power/cooling constraints, network topology design, and hardware validation/burn-in at scale.
Team Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring a team of infrastructure engineers. We're growing and need people who raise the bar for everyone around them.
Why Youâll Love It Here
This is a high-impact, senior builderâs role. Youâll have significant ownership and autonomy to shape how our systems run at a foundational level, working directly with customers and providers while architecting the infrastructure backbone for reliable, scalable AI compute. Youâll influence technical direction and help define what world-class AI infrastructure operations look like.
Andromeda Cluster is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

About the Role
We're hiring a Senior ML Engineer to be the data team's owner of production ML and AI agent systems. You'll take models from prototype to production, build and maintain the low-latency ML API that powers our Next Best Action (NBA) engine, and partner with our HAL team to ship LLM agents that turn NBA recommendations into real conversations with credit union members and partners. This is a builder's role at a builder's moment: NBA is going live, the agent infrastructure is being shaped now, and you'll define how Clutch does production AI for years to come.
About the Team
The Data team today is five people: one data scientist, two data engineers, one data analyst, and one product manager. We're small, ambitious, and shipping fast â two ML models heading to production, an ML API being built, and two AI agents (one customer-facing, one partner-facing) in active development. You'll be the senior technical voice for ML and AI engineering inside the team, and the bridge to HAL, the platform team that builds Clutch's agent runtime. Expect tight feedback loops, real autonomy, and a team that values pragmatism over purity.
What Youâll Do
Within 3 months, you will:
Take ownership of the ML API that serves NBA recommendations, partnering with the data engineer who's been building it, and harden it for low-latency production traffic
Ship your first agent tool contract end-to-end: schema design, handler implementation, structured-error contract, unit tests, deployed via HAL's runtime
Set up the eval foundation for our agents: golden transcripts, rubric-based judges, regression suites that run on every prompt or model change
Build a working relationship with HAL and become the data team's go-to on agent infrastructure decisions
Within 6 months, you will:
Be the primary owner (with data engineer support) of the ML API and the agent tool layer that wraps NBA and our ML models
Have shipped at least one production-grade agent (customer-facing or partner-facing) with prompt versioning, evals, observability, and multi-tenant gating in place
Define the data team's playbook for shipping a new ML model as an LLM-callable tool, end-to-end
Mentor the data engineers on ML/AI patterns so they can confidently support and extend the systems you own
Within 9 months, you will:
Operate as the technical lead within the data team for NBA production AI at Clutch â the person other teams come to when they want to understand how NBA ships ML and agents responsibly
Have measurably improved agent cost and latency (target: 30%+ reduction on P95 latency or per-conversation cost on at least one agent)
Be shaping the data team's roadmap for the next generation of ML and AI products, in partnership with the PM and data scientist
Help us decide what to hire next as the team scales
What Youâll Bring
Required
7+ years of engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping production ML systems â you've taken models from prototype to production and own what happens after deploy
Strong Python â most of the work (ML training, evaluation, the ML API, data pipelines) is in Python, and you're comfortable in production codebases, not just notebooks. Some TypeScript is involved for tool contracts and integration with our agent runtime â you don't need to be an expert, comfort with a second language is enough
Tool-design discipline for LLM consumption. Can take an ML model or data source and shape it into an LLM-callable tool with narrow input/output schemas, identity-required and scope-gated dispatch, and structured-error contracts (RATE_LIMITED, UPSTREAM_ERROR, NOT_FOUND) that the agent runtime converts to graceful tool-results instead of crashing
Eval discipline for non-deterministic systems. You treat evals as the unit-test equivalent for agents: golden transcripts, rubric-based judges, regression suites that run on every prompt or model change. You understand the difference between offline metrics and online evals, and use both
Prompt-shape literacy. You read a system prompt the way another engineer reads code: audience, register, compliance guardrails, template-var allow-list, allowed-tools section. You debug "why did the agent do that?" by reading the prompt and tool descriptions before reaching for model swaps. You've shipped at least one agent where the prompt was version-controlled and reviewed as code
Tool implementation rigor. You build handlers behind tool contracts with identity fields read from request context (never from LLM-supplied args), output re-parsed through the tool's schema before return, structured-error throws on every failure path, and unit tests covering both happy path and each named error. You have a story about a tool you shipped, a bug production traffic surfaced, and how you hardened it
Experience building and maintaining low-latency production APIs (FastAPI, BentoML, or equivalent), with opinions on serving, batching, and caching
Comfortable in AWS (Lambda especially), Docker, and GitHub-based workflows
You use AI tooling actively in your engineering workflow â not as a novelty, but as a default. You'll be expected to demonstrate this during the technical evaluation
Desired
Production agent observability: reading audit rows, distributed traces, per-tool latency and error metrics
Cost and latency tradeoff intuition in agent loops â has measurably reduced per-conversation cost or P95 latency on a live agent
Familiarity with an agent runtime framework (Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent)
Multi-tenant agent gating experience
Prior SaaS and/or FinTech experience
Nice to have but not required: Databricks, PySpark, Terraform
Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.

About Liquid AI
Spun out of MIT CSAIL, we build general-purpose AI systems that run efficiently across deployment targets, from data center accelerators to on-device hardware, ensuring low latency, minimal memory usage, privacy, and reliability. We partner with enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We are scaling rapidly and need exceptional people to help us get there.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to apply frontier sequential recommendation architectures to real enterprise problems at scale. You will own applied ML work end-to-end for recommendation system workloads, adapting Liquid Foundation Models for customers who need personalization and ranking capabilities that run efficiently under production constraints.
Unlike most recommendation roles that are siloed into a single product surface, this role gives you full ownership over how large-scale recommendation models are adapted, evaluated, and deployed for enterprise customers. Between engagements, you will build reusable applied tooling and workflows that accelerate future delivery.
If you care about data quality at scale, user behavior modeling, and making recommendation systems actually work in enterprise production environments, this is the role.
What Weâre Looking For
We need someone who:
Takes ownership: Owns customer recommendation system engagements end-to-end, from requirements through delivery and evaluation.
Thinks at scale: Can reason about user interaction data, sequential modeling, feature engineering, and evaluation across large-scale production systems.
Is pragmatic: Optimizes for measurable customer outcomes (engagement, conversion, revenue lift) over theoretical novelty.
Communicates clearly: Can translate between customer business metrics and internal technical decisions, and push back when needed.
The Work
Act as the technical owner for enterprise customer engagements involving recommendation and ranking workloads
Translate customer requirements into concrete specifications for recommendation models
Design and execute data pipelines for user interaction data, feature engineering, and training data curation at scale
Fine-tune and adapt large-scale sequential recommendation models (e.g., HSTU-style architectures) for customer-specific use cases
Design task-specific evaluations for recommendation model performance (ranking quality, latency, throughput) and interpret results
Build reusable applied tooling and workflows that accelerate future customer engagements
Desired Experience
Must-have:
Hands-on experience building or fine-tuning recommendation models at scale (not just off-the-shelf collaborative filtering)
Experience with sequential recommendation architectures, user behavior modeling, or large-scale ranking systems
Strong intuition for data quality and evaluation design in recommendation contexts (offline metrics, A/B testing, business metric alignment)
Experience with large-scale data pipelines for user interaction data and feature engineering
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch with autonomous coding and debugging ability
Nice-to-have:
Experience with transformer-based recommendation architectures (HSTU, SASRec, BERT4Rec, or similar)
Experience delivering recommendation systems to external customers with measurable business outcomes
Familiarity with serving recommendation models under latency and throughput constraints
What Success Looks Like (Year One)
Independently owns and delivers enterprise recommendation system engagements with minimal oversight
Is trusted by customers as the technical owner, demonstrating strong judgment on the tradeoffs between model quality, latency, and business impact
Has built reusable applied workflows or tooling that accelerate future customer engagements
What We Offer
Real ML work: You will build and adapt large-scale recommendation models for enterprise customers, working with frontier architectures like HSTU under real production constraints.
Compensation: Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage company
Health: We pay 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and dependents
Financial: 401(k) matching up to 4% of base pay
Time Off: Unlimited PTO plus company-wide Refill Days throughout the year

Today, healthcare organizations rely on fragmented and outdated provider data. This creates unnecessary administrative work, regulatory risk, and higher costs across the system. Weâre solving that problem.
Our API-first platform automates provider licensing, enrollment, credentialing, and network monitoring by connecting directly to hundreds of primary data sources. We help healthcare organizations maintain accurate, compliant, and reliable provider networks at scale.
Our vision is simple: One API. One provider ID. Frictionless provider data.
Weâre backed by leading investors and built by a team with deep experience in provider data systems. At CertifyOS, we value authenticity, accountability, collaboration, results, and openness to feedback. Weâre building a high-ownership team focused on solving real infrastructure problems that impact millions of patients.
About the Role:
As an Intern Machine Learning Engineer on a 6-month contract, you will help build, test, and deploy ML-powered services on our provider data platform. This is not a pure research role; the focus is on strong software engineering, testing, and robust evaluation rather than novel model architectures.
You will own features end-to-end by collaborating with stakeholders, implementing production-ready code, designing evaluation pipelines, and deploying services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a fully remote position.
What Youâll Do:
Design, implement, and maintain ML-driven services and data workflows in Python.

Build and maintain evaluation pipelines and metrics to measure model and system performance in production-like environments.
Deploy and operate ML services on GCP, including tools such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
Troubleshoot and improve existing ML services with a focus on reliability, latency, and correctness.
Collaborate proactively with internal stakeholders across product, operations, engineering, and data teams to clarify requirements and iterate on solutions.
Communicate clearly about trade-offs, risks, timelines, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What Youâll Need:
Experience as a Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production services.
Hands-on experience deploying and running workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
Expertise in writing and debugging SQL queries.
Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, version control (Git), CI/CD, and monitoring.
Experience evaluating ML systems by defining metrics, building evaluation datasets, running experiments, and interpreting results.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects with limited supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Comfort proactively reaching out to internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
Bonus Points If You:
Have experience writing code in Java.
Have built or maintained data pipelines or ETL jobs on GCP.
Have experience working with healthcare data, compliance requirements, or PII.
Have used experiment tracking and evaluation tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or custom dashboards.

ð¼ Contrato indefinido a jornada completa.
ð Trabajo en modalidad remoto.
â° Horario flexible todos los dÃas del año con rango de entrada entre las 08:00h y las 10:00h. Jornada continua todos los viernes del año y también en los meses de julio y agosto.
