As a Tech Lead, you will bring deep technical expertise to help steer the Engineering team's technical direction, reinforcing our culture of iterative, autonomous development and deployment. • Collaborate with project stakeholders and the development team to design, build, and implement scalable, user-friendly apps and libraries using Node, React, and Typescript.
• Collaborate with Product Management to examine, adjust, and break down roadmap items into epics and break down epics into discreet, actionable, appropriately sized tickets in the team’s backlog.
• Provide a technical perspective on organizational objectives within the team’s scope of activities. Analyze requirements, identify areas of concern, and provide recommendations based on your extensive technical background.
• Using POC models provided by Staff Developers, design and implement systems and infrastructure in accordance with the team’s vision and culture.
• Adhere to the organization’s security strategy using a security-first mindset.

• Manage and optimize the integration of third-party systems into our infrastructure while ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of these systems. • Define and prioritize areas of technical debt and bugs, taking into consideration outcomes of the incident management process and addressing them with the team.

• Coach and mentor the development team and work to expand their technical knowledge and skills.
• Use a systematic approach to debugging to diagnose issues within the application.
• Write unit tests as well as higher-level tests to ensure application quality and stability.
• Consistently produce production-ready code that is easily testable, easily understandable, and accounts for edge cases and errors, using comments and other documentation strategies where appropriate.
• Follow Agile practices, suggest improvements, and participate in team events.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s goals and initiatives and help the engineering team deliver on those goals/initiatives.
• Ensure technical standards such as accessibility, performance, security, maintainability, functional correctness, operability and observability are observed in the modules developed and maintained by the team.
• Document decisions, research and guides to foster and build a culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience building rich, complex and scalable APIs, including integration with third party APIs.
• 5+ years of building front-end web applications using modern Javascript frameworks.
• 2+ experience in designing scalable and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring other developers.
• Extensive full-stack experience working with React/Redux/Node/Typescript/PostgreSQL and Javascript.
• Extensive experience with the Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics to measure the DevOps Performance and experience in communicating what’s been measured with the team. 
• Experience architecting and augmenting large software systems.
• Experience with Javascript development toolings like WebPack, Babel, and Storybook.
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks like Jest/Mocha.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, not including the annual discretionary bonus and any additional performance-based incentives.

 

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at InfStones, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. 12. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support as needed across multiple teams across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent of 5 years experience in DevOps, Software Development, Systems Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, QA and Test Engineering, IT Architecture, or any of their combination.

2. At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably in AWS and Linux based Systems, as well as CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, and Git version control.

3. Expertise in deployment and management of Kubernetes, especially EKS, as well as the applications running on it.

4. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

5. Experience with security best practices and implementing security measures in a DevOps environment.

6. Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalents.

7. Proficient in common programming and scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Shell, Java, and JavaScript.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of completing tasks with minimal guidance.

Position Summary:

Nirupama Mantha, Senior Manager at Perforce is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join the PE team. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer who is well-versed in configuration management, Git, distributed systems, Postgresql, Ruby, Java and Clojure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

This position will support our Puppet brand.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Utilize Git for version control, branching, and merging to enable efficient collaboration with team members.
• Design and develop distributed systems, ensuring fault tolerance, scalability, and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Ruby and Clojure.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance bottlenecks. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to improve software development processes and outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and practices within the team.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in configuration management practices and tools.
• At least 3 years experience working with a team on a production code base.
• Extensive experience with Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, such as fault tolerance, scalability, and consistency.
• Experience in developing and maintaining software applications in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work within a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Postgresql, Ruby, Java and Clojure, with a strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) principles and tools.
• Experience developing configuration management solutions
• Experience doing system administration
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

What You Will Do

• Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend systems that process and serve massive amounts of data.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions used by thousands of enterprise customers worldwide.
• Solve complex technical challenges, from optimizing concurrency and synchronization to debugging distributed behaviors and improving system reliability.
• Monitor and optimize key performance metrics — including throughput, latency, and resource efficiency — ensuring our systems always perform beyond expectations.

What You Will Need

• You have 3–6 years of backend engineering experience, ideally with Go as your main language.
• You’ve built and operated distributed systems and understand the challenges of concurrency, synchronization, and data consistency.
• You care deeply about performance, reliability, and clean code — and you love making measurable improvements.
• You’re experienced with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).
• You’ve worked with any messaging or queue system (e.g., NSQ, NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• You follow best practices across the development lifecycle — from design and reviews to testing and deployment.
• You’re fluent in English and communicate effectively in a global team setting.

• Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.
• Familiarity with real-time messaging systems like Kafka, Kinesis, or NATS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
• Interest in event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, or gRPC-based communication.
• A passion for observability, monitoring, and debugging complex distributed systems.
