Responsabilities
We're seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Data Engineering team and take ownership of quality assurance across our data pipelines and infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in building and maintaining automated test suites that ensure the reliability and accuracy of our healthcare data systems. You'll work closely with a small, focused team of data engineers to establish testing strategies, prioritize coverage for critical data paths, and maintain quality standards as we scale.
• Quality Ownership: Own and maintain the automated test suite that runs in our CI pipeline, including integration tests, data quality checks, and smoke tests for our data infrastructure.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with data engineers to understand pipeline architecture, identify critical data paths, and develop comprehensive testing strategies that prioritize business-critical datapoints.
• Test Development: Write and maintain automated tests for data pipelines using Python and TypeScript, ensuring coverage across batch and event-driven workflows.
• Data Validation: Implement data quality checks including row counts, schema validation, key-column validation, idempotency testing, and duplicate handling across ETL processes.
• CI/CD Integration: Build and maintain testing frameworks that integrate seamlessly with our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeArtifact.
• Documentation & Standards: Document test cases, testing strategies, and coverage metrics to establish repeatable quality standards across the data team.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify testing gaps and systematically expand coverage toward end-to-end testing of critical data pipelines.
Requirements
• 3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing, with a focus on data pipelines or backend systems.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, CodeArtifact).
• Hands-on experience working with data lakes and ETL processes on AWS (familiarity with services like S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge).
• Experience with testing frameworks for Python (pytest, unittest) and TypeScript/JavaScript (Jest, Mocha).
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling concepts, and data lineage.
• Experience testing in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• English (C1/C2) fluency.

Principales responsabilidades:
- Crear y desplegar landing pages, contenido y campañas digitales
- Ejecutar publicaciones en redes (LinkedIn, Instagram) con foco B2B
- Utilizar herramientas de IA para generación de contenido, diseño, video y automatización
- Implementar flujos de automatización y agentes simples (workflows, integraciones, asistentes)

Buscamos un perfil junior con alto potencial, fuerte orientación a ejecución y afinidad tecnológica.
Requisitos obligatorios:
- Experiencia inicial en marketing digital, contenido o growth (laboral, freelance o proyectos propios)
- Uso activo de herramientas de IA aplicadas a marketing, diseño o generación de contenido
- Experiencia creando landing pages (Webflow, Framer, WordPress o similares)
- Experiencia o exposición práctica a entornos Cloud y uso de IA en la nube (APIs, herramientas o plataformas AI)
- Comprensión básica de modelos de IA, incluyendo herramientas de codificación asistida y lógica de agentes (agentic workflows)
- Manejo de herramientas de diseño (Canva, Figma u otras)
- Buen criterio visual y gusto por el diseño, con capacidad de crear presentaciones claras, estructuradas y de estándar profesional para clientes y equipos internos
- Conocimiento básico en plataformas de ads (Google Ads, Meta/Instagram)
- Capacidad de ejecución autónoma, orden y seguimiento
- Excelente redacción en español y nivel funcional de inglés

About the Role
- Software Development and Architecture: Writes production-ready code, going towards self-documenting code that is aligned with the overall service architecture. Utilizes abstractions and code isolation effectively. Makes sure apps can be monitored using a single observability tool and optimizes apps for lowest possible infrastructure cost. Works in a specific stack. Implements detailed software design.
- Project Impact and Responsibility: Take full ownership of one project from conception through deployment, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, promoting best practices in cloud architecture and development. Provides mentorship in one stack.
- Continuous Improvement and operation: Identify issues in more than one stack and refactors systematic issues in at least one stack. Is able to respond to stakeholders when an issue is raised.

Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- 3-4 years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), ideally with experience in using the AWS Cloud
- 2 years Development Kit (CDK) for deploying cloud infrastructure.
- 3-4 years of experience with TypeScript and NodeJS.
- 3-4 years of experience working with version control systems such as git. Ability to use Github Actions.
- 2 years of experience in Frontend (React).
- 3 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with payment systems such as stripe, mercado pago, etc. (desired).
- Experience working with Zoho and Healthie is considered a plus (desired).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way.
