The Animal Legal Defense Fund accomplishes this mission by filing high-impact lawsuits to protect animals from harm, providing free legal assistance and training to prosecutors to assure that animal abusers are held accountable for their crimes, supporting tough animal protection legislation and fighting legislation harmful to animals, gathering data about and advocating for effective regulation of animal exploitative industries and providing resources and opportunities to law students and professionals to advance the emerging field of animal law.

Role Description

The Digital Media Specialist’s primary responsibility is maintaining and building ALDF’s digital presence across websites and paid advertising channels. The role coordinates and builds content on aldf.org and other subsites, including advocacy and campaign pages and online action centers. The position also helps to design and implement digital advertising campaigns and analytics reporting, ensuring digital content drives engagement and supports the organization’s priority areas of work.

How You Will Make a Difference

Website

• Publish diverse legal and advocacy-driven content on the ALDF website, including landing pages and action centers, utilizing multiple templates and complex taxonomy.
• Update webpages on a rolling basis, with information supplied by program departments.
• Maintain and organize image and video assets in our digital media library.
• Select, crop, and size photos for the website, following organizational photography standards.
• Serve as a final check before publishing, coordinating edits as needed.
• Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, and quality assurance of the website.
• Support integration with CRM and analytics platforms.

Digital Analytics

• Monitor and analyze website performance, functionality, use experience, and mobile responsiveness, and report on website metrics including traffic, downloads, and click rates, leveraging Google Analytics and Tag Manager.

The City of Pullman Civil Service Commission is currently recruiting for an independent contractor for the Secretary and Chief Examiner. The salary range position is $400.00-$600.00 monthly.

The Civil Service Commission Secretary and Chief Examiner performs all responsible supervisory and professional functions necessary for the administration and direction of the City Civil Service Commission in accordance with the Civil Service Rules and Regulations and provisions of state law relating to civil service. • Evaluates and/or supervises the evaluation of applicants meeting the minimum qualifications; determines which examinations will be conducted, the subjects to be covered in each examination, and the relative weights to be given to each portion of the examination, subject to approval of the Commission.

• In coordination with the appropriate Police or Fire Chief, decides all questions relating to the eligibility of applicants, the admissibility of applicants to the examinations, extension of time, and all questions arising during an examination.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, Back-End, you’ll own some of the most consequential systems at Rebuy. Your primary anchor is our billing and payments infrastructure — the engine that determines how merchants are charged, how partners get paid, and how financial balances flow across our entire product suite. This is genuinely complex financial engineering. It requires deep PHP and Go expertise, careful architecture, and judgment that no automated tool can replicate. Alongside billing, you’ll grow into a broader platform portfolio — the partner portal, data ETL pipelines, customer-facing APIs, and reporting infrastructure that power the business. • Billing & Payments Architecture: Design and build Rebuy’s centralized billing system that handles merchant billing, partner payments, and customer-facing charges. Architect the integration layer that allows payment balances to be applied across Rebuy’s full suite of services. Tackle genuinely complex financial engineering challenges with PHP and Go at scale.

• Build Robust APIs: Design and implement secure, well-structured APIs in PHP and Go to power billing events, payment processing, and financial data flows across our platform and Shopify integrations.

• Legacy Modernization: Lead and contribute to the migration of our Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4. This is high-priority, near-term work with real business dependencies — including enterprise partnership commitments — and requires a PHP engineer with the experience and judgment to do it right.

• Agentify the Platform: Partner with product and engineering to identify where AI agents can automate workflows, surface insights, and guide merchants through our product.
