The Senior Data Engineer is a critical role reporting directly to the CTO. The primary mission is to rapidly deliver a reliable, production-ready market data platform that serves as the single source of truth for trading, risk, and business intelligence.


You’ll immediately own the entire data platform from inception and deliver working historical and real-time Tardis pipelines in the first 60 days. Beyond the initial MVP, the role requires iteratively evolving the platform into a best-in-class, cloud-native, observable, and self-service system. You will work hand in hand with the CTO & trading team to scope & deliver to business needs. The Senior Data Engineer will also serve as the go-to data expert for the firm and will be responsible for mentoring future junior data engineers or analysts.

What You’ll Do
  • Rapidly spin up the cloud environment. Deliver working historical backfill pipelines from Tardis.dev into a queryable database.
  • Deliver a real-time Tardis WebSocket pipeline, ensuring data is normalized, cached for live consumption, accurate, replayable, and queryable by Day 60.
  • Ensure all pipelines are idempotent, retryable, and use exactly-once semantics. Implement full CI/CD, Terraform, automated testing, and secrets management.
  • Implement proper observability (structured logs, metrics, dashboards, alerting) from day one. Provide immediate self-service access to the MVP database for Trading and BI teams via tools like Tableau/Metabase, and through simple internal REST APIs.

  • Ingest data from additional sources (Kaiko, CoinAPI, on-chain via TheGraph/Dune). Plan for 10x+ data growth via schema evolution, partitioning, and performance tuning. Establish enterprise-grade governance, including a data quality framework, RBAC, audit logs, and a semantic layer.
  • Create full architecture documentation, runbooks, and a data dictionary. Onboard and mentor future junior staff.


What We’re Looking For
  • Proven track record of delivering working, production data in weeks, not months, with the ability to ruthlessly cut scope to hit a 60-day MVP while managing technical debt.
  • Have built Tardis historical and real-time pipelines before (or equivalent high-quality crypto market data feeds), understanding specific quirks, rate limits, and WebSocket structures.
  • Expert in large-scale, reliable ETL/ELT for financial or market data.
  • Fluent in provisioning full environments with Terraform in days and expert in AWS/GCP serverless technologies.

We're seeking a Product Data Analyst contractor to drive data-informed product decisions by improving our data democratization, analyzing data, generating insights, and generating reports. Key Responsibilities
  • Use SQL to query data in Snowflake.
  • Update Snowflake data models, consistent with current data architecture.

Every department at Everfield HQ (HR, Finance, Legal, Acquisitions, Operations, etc) runs on processes that were designed before AI existed. Manual document review. Copy-paste reporting. Spreadsheets that someone, somewhere, built five years ago and nobody has dared to touch since.

We have already proven what happens when someone with the right skills and the right mandate shows up: portfolio companies that received sustained, hands-on AI attention moved from basic ChatGPT usage to deploying autonomous workflows in weeks. Now we need to bring that same energy to our own headquarters.

This is a new role. No predecessor, no playbook, no predefined toolkit. You will translate Everfield's AI strategy into department-specific roadmaps and then work shoulder-to-shoulder with HQ staff to execute them.

You will not be delivering workshops with sticky notes and leaving behind a slide deck. You will sit with a colleague, understand their workflow, prototype a solution together, and stay with them as they build confidence. You would rather ship a rough prototype on Tuesday than present a polished strategy deck on Friday.

What you will do

  • Map the territory. Assess AI maturity across each HQ department. Identify the biggest opportunities and build roadmaps that keep everyone moving in the same direction.

  • Build, not just advise. Develop proof-of-concept tools and workflow automations using AI APIs and low-code platforms. Prototyping is part of the job. Claude Code will become your main tool. We consider Zapier and n8n legacy software!

  • Enable through doing. Solve real problems alongside colleagues, in real time. Sit next to someone, show them what is possible and support them as they pick up new skills.

  • Automate the tedious. Turn manual processes into AI-powered workflows: document processing, data enrichment, reporting automation, and similar.

  • Create materials that scale. Build playbooks, templates, and training resources so adoption does not depend on your personal availability.

  • Prove the impact. Track adoption rates and report on ROI. We care about outcomes, not activity.

What success looks like

In your first 9 months:

  • AI maturity assessment completed for each HQ department

  • Every department has a documented AI Strategy and Roadmap document

  • Have hands-on experience with AI APIs (Completions, Responses, Embeddings) from OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, Bedrock, Openrouter or similar providers

  • Bring consulting instincts: stakeholder management, structured thinking, turning ambiguity into a plan

  • Can explain technical concepts to non-technical people without condescension or jargon

  • We are looking for someone early enough in their career to be genuinely immersed in how AI is changing work, with the hunger to build something from scratch

Strategic Business Partner

Job Duties:

  • Provide “legendary” care to hospital patients by providing a full suite of custom medication management services.
  • An off-site member of the clinic team providing prior authorization, financial assistance, patient medication on-boarding services, and patient refill/renewal support.
  • Educate prospective pharmacy patients on how the hospital pharmacy serves patients and improves their overall care.
  • Handle all medication needs of patients.
  • Grow the specialty pharmacies patient population by strictly adhering to Shields' programs and processes with enthusiasm and purpose.
  • Resolve insurance related issues, complete benefit investigations, including prior authorizations (PAs) as an agent of the provider.
