About the role

Job Description

Experience: 2–3 Years

Role Objective

The Analyst, Accounts Payable will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy in financial records and maintaining strong vendor relationships. With 2–3 years of experience, the candidate is expected to handle complex reconciliations, assist in month-end closings, and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Invoice & Payment Processing

  • Manage the full-cycle AP process: coding, matching (2-way/3-way), and entering invoices.
  • Review and verify payment request, employee reimbursements, and credit card statements.
  • Schedule and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, Wire etc.) while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

2. Vendor Management & Reconciliation

  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and dispute resolution.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.

3. Month-End & Financial Reporting

  • Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing AP accruals and aging reports.
  • Reconcile the Accounts Payable sub-ledger to the General Ledger.
  • Monitor AP aging to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis and complete special projects, as needed.

4. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure all payments adhere to company authorization limits and VAT/Tax compliance regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the AP workflow to increase accuracy and reduce manual entry.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
  • Technical Proficiency: * Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
    • Hands-on experience with ERP and T&E systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) cycle.
    • Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail and an intense desire to automate and streamline manual processes.
    • Strong communication skills for negotiating with vendors and aligning with internal teams.

We’re looking for a designer who will take ownership of the project’s visual communication, from social media creatives to landing pages. You’ll work closely with the Design Director who’ll help shape the direction and standards, while you bring ideas to life and help develop the visual style further.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create content for social media including posts, stories, and banners in a consistent visual style
  • Design and build landing pages, from structure and layout to developer handoff
  • Support and develop the project’s visual identity
  • Participate in content brainstorms and suggest visual ideas
  • Prepare materials for partners and external communications


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong Figma skills including layouts, components, and auto layout
  • Good visual taste and understanding of typography, grids, and color
  • Understanding of social media formats and platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience designing landing pages with an understanding of structure, CTA logic, and user flow
  • Ability to work within existing brand guidelines while still bringing your own ideas and initiative
  • Independence and good self-management skills

POSITION SUMMARY

We are building and scaling a high-performance consumer lending platform and are looking for a Fraud Risk Analyst to help protect the business from identity fraud, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.

This role sits at the intersection of fraud, credit, and analytics, and will directly impact early loss performance and portfolio quality.

You will be responsible for identifying fraud patterns, building detection strategies, and implementing controls that prevent bad actors from entering the portfolio.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and biased toward action, not just case review.

You will work closely with Credit, Product, Operations and Engineering to ensure fraud risk is properly identified and separated from credit risk in decisioning.

This role is Addison, TX-based with a 4-day in-office requirement.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Analyze application and early performance data to identify fraud patterns, including synthetic identity, first-party fraud, and credit abuse.
  • Develop and implement fraud detection strategies, including rules, thresholds, and decisioning logic.
  • Monitor early performance (e.g., FPD, zero-pay accounts) to identify potential fraud-driven losses.
  • Distinguish fraud risk vs credit risk, improving approval quality and reducing early loss.
  • Evaluate and optimize third-party fraud tools and data sources (e.g., identity verification, device intelligence, consortium data).

Required

  • 4–6 years of experience in fraud, risk, or analytics, preferably in fintech, lending, or financial services
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Python, Excel, or similar tools to analyze large datasets

Salary


The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $145,000 - $155,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. What you'll own

This is our first DevRel hire. Your priorities, in order:

1. Video content: Create screencasts, product walkthroughs, and video demos that show SuperPlane in action. You're comfortable on camera and can produce polished content without a production team.

2. Technical content: Build working use cases and turn them into blog posts, tutorials, and guides. The typical flow: explore the product, develop a real workflow, write it up, then turn it into a video.

3. Community presence: Be SuperPlane's voice in our Discord, on Reddit, Hacker News, and relevant DevOps Slack groups. Welcome new users, answer questions, surface interesting discussions, and represent us in a natural, non-salesy way.

4. Events (occasional): Represent SuperPlane at conferences or meetups a few times per year.


What success looks like

In the first 6 months:

  • A consistent publishing cadence: written content and videos shipping weekly

  • Content that drives meaningful traffic and signups from organic search and social media shares

  • Active, visible presence in community channels where our users hang out
