We are hiring a Head of Marketing & Communications to tell the garden3d story across the internet, from wherever in the world you happen to be.
More details if you check our original job posting link
We are worker owned creative collective, innovating on everything from brands and IRL communities to IoT devices and cross platform apps. We share profit, open source everything, spin out new businesses, and invest in exciting ideas through financial and/or in-kind contributions.
Our client roster includes Google, Stripe, Figma, Hinge, Black Socialists in America, ACLU, Pratt, Parsons, Mozilla, The Nobel Prize, MIT, Gnosis, Etsy & Gagosian.
We’re the software team behind innovative products like The Light Phone & Mill, and we operate a global, decentralized community space collective called Index Space.
We think of our garden3d as collective for creative people, prioritizing a happy, talented, and diverse studio culture. We work on projects that bring value to our world, and we balance deep care for the work we do with a genuine curiosity about life outside of our jobs.
Sanctuary Computer — Development
At Sanctuary Computer we’re building a different type of technology shop – one that prioritizes close collaboration between the client and the craftsperson.
Our projects range from design-forward websites, to robust web apps, to native mobile development.
XXIX — Design
When we started XXIX in 2013, we set out to create a different kind of design studio and we’ve thrived because we continually ask what a creative practice can be.
We’re building a radically different kind of organization that values autonomy, growth, transparency, and shared responsibility.
Index Space — Community
A network of physical spaces all around the world, Index provides space for the exchange of knowledge and tools.
We nurture trust within the creative community through generosity and abundance of ideas and care.
garden3d TK — Media
At garden3d, we’re in the early stages of building an experimental media company exploring emerging themes related to the evolving landscape of technology, design and culture.
We aim to monetize this outlet, publish books, produce screenplays, and release music.
Plus, our partner organizations

The garden3d Head of Marketing & Communications has one mandate: make sure everything we put on the internet is compelling and interesting. garden3d is a house of brands - Sanctuary Computer (development), XXIX (design), Index Space (community), USB Club (digital community), and the garden3d umbrella itself - and each needs its own voice, its own audience, and its own drumbeat of work worth sharing. Working in close partnership with our founder & president Hugh Francis, this person decides what we make, where it runs, and whether it clears our bar.
You can be based anywhere. A lot of our studios, spaces and people gravitate around New York, so there's some pull to be here, and a good part of this job is noticing what's happening in our world and turning it into content. But we already work across timezones, and we would happily hire in Europe, Singapore, Chicago, or wherever you are. If you're the right person, we want to hear from you.
This role will interface with studio leads, designers, developers, editors, animators, photographers, community managers, event producers and ad platforms across every garden3d vertical.
Simply, this person can easily context shift between our massively diverse set of workstreams, find the most compelling stories, and get them produced at an exceedingly high bar.
This person owns our channels end to end: the garden3d Substack, our podcast, Instagram, X, and the paid accounts behind them. They collab with our team, and a rotating cast of freelance editors, designers and animators, and they run the calendar that keeps a dozen workstreams shipping on time. They think in PESO terms (paid, earned, shared, owned) with the weight on shared and owned media - paid is a tool they use deliberately, and traditional press is a bonus, but not generally where we focus.
The ambition runs past marketing a services business. garden3d TK is our young experimental media company, and this role is its engine: books, screenplays, music, media, activations: a record label for ideas. The ideal candidate looks at a worker-owned collective with four studios, a network of community spaces and an open P&L and sees the best content brief on the internet.
Quality never less than 8/10
We aspire for 10/10, celebrate 9/10 and never publish anything that’s not an 8/10 - visually, narratively, and in production quality. This person holds that bar across every post, video, essay and episode on every vertical, and would rather kill a piece than let a 6 out the door. Their feedback makes work better and faster, without micromanaging the people who make it.
Social That Stops the Scroll
They carry a current, practitioner-level read on how each platform works right now: what arrests someone mid-scroll, how a hook earns the next three seconds, why a format lands on TikTok and dies on LinkedIn. Short-form video is a first-class craft here, not an afterthought.
️A House of Brands, Each in Its Own Voice
Sanctuary Computer doesn't sound like XXIX, and neither sounds like Index. They manage several messaging columns at once, keeping each brand's tone distinct while the umbrella story stays coherent.
Case Study Production
Every client engagement across our creative agencies should end in a case study worth reading. They own that production line - interviewing the team, shaping the narrative, art-directing the assets - and ship case studies that win each studio its next project.
️Websites That Put Our Best Foot Forward
Our websites are usually the first place a prospective client or hire meets us. They own the strategy behind every garden3d site - what it says, what work it shows, and how clearly it communicates what each studio can do - and they keep sites, decks and other collateral current as the work moves, so what people find is sharp and true.
️Editorial Ownership
The Substack, the podcast, and our transparency publications (like the open-source P&L we release every year) are theirs to run: the calendar, the standards, the growth. They capture what happens in our spaces - Index, USB Club, and the communities around them - and turn it into work worth sharing.
Producing, Paid & Distribution
They direct producers, editors and freelancers like a showrunner: briefs are clear, deadlines are real, and many workstreams move at once without dropping quality. They run paid spend on Meta, Instagram and wherever our audiences live - building audiences, running A/B/C tests on both narrative and adset, and owning budgets against results they can show.
Data-Driven Reporting & ROI
They measure what our content actually does - audience growth, engagement, leads, pipeline influenced - and report on it plainly. Paid spend, organic effort and production time all get judged on return, and next quarter's plan follows the numbers.
Presence IRL
garden3d shows up in person: events, conferences, talks, Index programming, and the dinners and openings where our world gathers. They decide which touchpoints are worth our time, get us there looking like ourselves, and bring back stories worth publishing.
Culture
They model garden3d's values of partnership, curiosity, and accountability. The producers and creatives they direct do the best work of their careers here, because the feedback is honest, the recognition is real, and the taste rubs off.
In addition to day to day responsibilities, here’s an idea of some of the projects this role may spearhead or support in coming years
- Turning garden3d TK into a real experimental media brand: books, screenplays, music, and shows
- Growing our podcast into a property with its own audience
- Launch campaigns for new Index spaces, USB Club drops, and community programs
- Making our annual open-source P&L release a media moment
- Standing up a small content studio that serves all four studios' new-business pipelines
- Building the systems (and hiring the people) that let us publish more often, while aspiring for a 10/10 content, and never dropping below an 8/10
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact in a growing, dynamic company. Based on the responsibilities of this role, we think the right candidate has the following experience and skills:
Must have:
- 8+ years in marketing, content or brand leadership, with real time inside creative studios, agencies or founder-led companies
- A portfolio that proves exceptional taste - visual, narrative, and tone of voice
- A design background and/or fluency & comfort producing own visual assets at the required quality level in Figma when necessary
- Experience owning a company's web presence: site strategy, messaging, and keeping capabilities collateral current
- Exceptional project management: content calendars, production pipelines, many workstreams at once
- Short-form video fluency: they've shipped work for Reels, TikTok and Shorts and can say why each piece performed
- Extensive experience & comfort managing creatives & producers (editors, designers, animators, freelancers) and getting better work out of them than they'd make alone
- Hands-on experience running paid social on Meta, Instagram and other platforms: audience building, budget ownership, and A/B/C testing across narrative and ad set
- Working fluency in the PESO model, with a point of view on where paid, earned, shared and owned media each earn their keep
Nice-to-have:
- Experience producing a brand's IRL presence: events, conferences, talks, and the follow-through that turns them into content
- Podcast or audio production experience
- Comfort/experience managing multiple messaging columns in a house of brands
- Newsletter growth experience, Substack especially
- Community & events marketing: programming, launches, IRL moments
- Photography, motion or editing chops of their own
- Fluency with AI production tools, plus the judgment to know when not to use them
- A press & media network (traditional PR isn't the focus, but relationships help)
- Experience marketing to design & engineering decision-makers at companies like our clients
- Book publishing or long-form media experience
- Experience growing a services business's story into a consumer-scale audience
The person we’re looking for is happy, relaxed and easy to get along with and appreciates a commitment to a culture of transparency, non-dictatorial leadership styles, and alternative methodologies. They’re flexible on anything except conceits that will lower their usually outstanding work quality. They work “smart” by carefully managing their workflow and team.
After you submit your application, a member of our team will reach out. Our interview process starts with an intro call to answer any questions you have about the role and to learn a bit more about your experience and interests.
From there, we’ll follow up with a panel interview call where you get to meet a few members of our team, to openly discuss some of our challenges and ensure your skills and interests align with where we’re going as a business.
For qualified candidates, the process wraps with a reference call, and an offer to follow.
This role greatly favors autonomous, competent & ambitious operators. It will begin with a 4-month fraction trial contract, paid hourly between $75 - $120 p/hr pending seniority & experience. In the first few weeks of the trial, this individual will propose their own goals to define success in their trial, and present them to our leadership team for approval.
At garden3d, we believe that those who shoulder the most responsibility and create the greatest impact should be paid accordingly. If this individual exceeds expectations by the end of the 4-month period, we'll shape a permanent role together, with scope and compensation that grow as our audiences and revenue do.
Finally, after a period of proven success in this role (12 - 24 months), this individual will become eligible to join our worker ownership program.
We believe that there’s a better balance between the poles of freelancing & full time, and for that reason we work differently to most shops:
- Transparency & Ownership: We release out Profit & Loss statements to the community each year, open source our best ideas, and talk business & money with everyone in the company. We’re proud to run our business with integrity, and for that reason we share everything with our team & community.
- 150% Carbon Negative:** Our studio offsets 150% of the carbon we use to do business each year, dated back to our founding in 2015. We turn down work that is not in-line with our morals, and we encourage our peers to do the same. We have been certified climate neutral since 2021.
- Strong Morals:** Since our founding, we've turned down somewhere between $1mm - $2mm of work that didn't meet our moral standards. (Most of that was DTC brands that can't show a valid sustainability initiative).
- Async & Decentralized: We use tools optimized for calm, thoughtful communication, and opt for async whenever possible. We fight hard to maintain our focus time.
- Remote Friendly: Our company is fluent in remote work, making our workplace more decentralized, and democratized in the process.
- Ideas & Products: In our spare studio time, we work to build our own open source or internal products to diversify & bolster our income. We create amazing technology products for our clients, so why not for the studio?
→ Read more on our Substack, over here.
Kindly submit a complete and thoughtful application, including relevant links that help verify your work experience and identity. Applications with missing or insufficient information will not move forward in the review process.
Our team carefully reviews every complete submission, and we truly appreciate the time and effort you put into applying! We’re excited to hear from you! ❤

We've spent a decade at the center of gaming culture and earned something rare in return: an intimate understanding of play-first audiences and the trust of both sides of the table, the brands we partner with and the communities we serve. That's how we connect brands in ways that reward, inspire, not engage.
That two-sided trust is the whole game. Plenty of companies can put an ad in front of someone while they play. Almost none are welcomed by the player and relied on by the brand. We are because we understand the audience well enough to translate a brand's message into the right creative, in the right worlds, with measurement you can actually trust.
What we bring to the table:
- An in-house development studio and a roster of owned-and-operated games - net-new, brand-safe inventory we build and control, not borrow.
- An audience-intelligence engine that turns a decade of community knowledge into something you can query, prove, and sell on.
- Programmatic and media capabilities that make immersive activations as buyable as anything else on the plan.
- A real stronghold in kids- and youth-gaming - trust with young audiences, their parents, and the platforms that you can't acquire in a pitch.
We're publicly traded, we're growing, and we believe the best brand moments in gaming are a fair trade: players get something they genuinely want, and brands earn attention they could never buy.
Super League already has a presence in New York, and a foundation to build on; your job is to widen it. We're looking for a Director or Senior Director who can deepen the relationships we have, open the rooms we don't, and turn this market into one of our strongest. You'll own the full cycle: find it, pitch it, close it, and grow it. You bring the relationships and the instinct for where the next deal is. We hand you inventory, audience intelligence, and creative no competitor can match, plus a team that has your back at every step.
This is a quota-carrying seat for a closer who knows this space and wants to own a market inside it.
What You'll Own
Business Development & Relationships
- Be the face of Super League in your market; carry the story and make people get why we're different.
- Build and own relationships with agency and brand-side decision-makers across your territory.
- Run the full cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow accounts into long-term partners.
- Bring in net-new logos across priority verticals and expand the ones you land.
Strategic & Creative Selling
- Get fluent in your clients' business, their category, and the cultural currents moving their audiences.
- Work with our strategy, creative, and dev teams to package immersive activations no one else can build.
- Lead the room with tailored pitches that hit client KPIs and make the work feel inevitable.
Your Support System
- You sell; the bench delivers. Strategy, account management, ad ops, project management, creative, and our in-house studio are built to back every deal you bring in.
- Forecast straight and run a healthy pipeline; we operate on real data, and the number is the truth.
What You Bring
- Director: 5+ years
- Senior Director: 8+ years in media, advertising, gaming, entertainment, branded content, or talent sales with a real book of agency and brand relationships.
- A track record of opening net-new business and beating quota.
- Fluency selling premium video, branded content, sponsorships, and/or interactive and immersive experiences.
- Sharp communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- An entrepreneurial streak: you can own a territory and still move as a team.
- You live in this culture. You know the platforms, the creators, and the way next-gen audiences actually behave, and you're genuinely excited to sell into it.
- Willingness to travel as the deals require.
You'll sell something no one else has: owned inventory, proprietary audience intelligence, an in-house studio, and a decade of credibility in the worlds where the next generation actually lives. You'll work with the most innovative marketers on the planet, building activations that move real business, and you'll do it with a team that's obsessed with this audience, backs its sellers, and plays to win.
We grew up alongside the next generation. Come help us prove it.

Regardless of which curated coaching path we end up travelling along, the process starts with a deep dive into the unconscious mind and ends up with a lateral shift and a conversation with someone you never imagined. (I say ends, but thatâs really the start).
My point is this, we are all capable of polishing a CV, calling a recruiter or going to a network event but real finds are made when you step outside your networks and allow yourself to get curious.
Rather than think, who do I know, think who donât I know? Time and time again people tell me I want to do X but I donât know anyone, or they give up when a quick-fire email to friends, or friends of friends yields nothing. SLOW DOWN. Do your detective work. Challenge yourself to think outside your normal circle and widen your contact strategy. Get comfortable with using LinkedIn, it's still, in my opinion, the best platform for seeking out professionals who share your interests and voice interesting opinions. See what causes they support, and what events they pop up at. There will be someone doing something very similar to what youâd like to try somewhere in the world. 9/10 times those people are very generous with their time IF they sense a real connection and passion. And this is the point, your standard cover note and a CV will probably not be enough. Neither is the sycophantic, Iâve been a great fan approach.
Take time to do your research. What nugget of info can you share with them that shows a deeper level of interest or knowledge? Equally, as much as you want to speak to the CEO, are they the right person? A great piece of advice someone once gave to me was, to aim your intro to the middle ranks of a company. Someone within reach of the decision-makers, but not so overwhelmed with the really big stuff that they canât spare you the time. The bonus of this approach is that they, as your champion, can feel they are making a difference, and through your energy and enthusiasm, look good too.
It's easy to say donât give up, but please donât. Trust the process. Be strict about getting emails off, but equally, build a realistic framework for a reply. Nothing personal but the likelihood is, that you are at the bottom of the recipients' priorities. I like to work to a 2-week rule - no reply after 2 weeks., knock again. Keep adapting the tempo and the timing. Keep challenging yourself to think laterally about how to make contact and widen the circle of possible contact points. Creativity is your tool. Persistence is the means.
Frame your search as one of curiosity and discovery, because whilst it might not beat precisely to your âget me outta hereâ clock, it will protect you from search fatigue - the death toll for all career shifts. Keep reflecting on the evidence, If all your research is leading to the insight that you need to invest in new skills, donât just plough on, waiting to hear what you think you want to hear. Constantly re-evaluate your timeframe and reshape what you do. Be realistic. I donât mean that in the, âwho do you think you areâ sense, but the truth is, you only have so much time in a day.
Build time for research, volunteering, spec briefs etc, but keep a beady on what it is costing you - financially and time-wise. Time and money are grim reapers in the career move cast. Can you combine new learning with what you are doing right now? Constantly check your motivation levels and as Bill âDesign Your Lifeâ Burnett says, âGet good at feeling luckyâ. Thereâs evidence that people with this attitude are more likely to be tuned into the kind of interesting opportunities on the periphery of our vision. AKA, be less blinkered and try stuff.
And last but not least, get used to the idea that gut instinct is a real and valuable compass. Because it just is.

Before jumping into the list, let's quickly discuss software engineering career ladders. We can extract common traits from those career ladders; understanding those characteristics allows us to connect the dots more easily and compare different career ladders efficiently.
What Is a Career Ladder?
A career ladder, or career path, is a progression framework. It allows an organization to describe the different job levels and the expectations for a given position.
It enables the assessment of a software engineer's skills and to work on her career progression. It provides a shared framework to identify the different aspects to improve to reach the next job level.
The ladder can also be mapped with employee's compensation, increasing salaries transparency, and fairness.
Expertise Path and Manager Path (Dual-Track)
Most of the software engineering career ladders are dual tracks ladders.
They have a joint base for the first positions, and at some point, two paths are possible the expertise path and the people management path. The expertise path is often named the individual contributor track, the people management path is often called the manager track.
The career path depends on the stage of the company and the size of the team. New positions will usually appear while the engineering group is growing.
Example for a tiny team (up to 10 engineers)
You'll rarely find ladders at that scale; it's still very early stage, the team is a handful of engineers working with a CTO or a Tech Lead. In startups, the engineering lead is often the technical Co-founder and CTO.
Single Track Notes Engineer Creating solutions to business problems Senior Engineer Handling most complex parts and mentoring Engineering Lead She may handle people management aspects
At this stage, it's pretty common to have one lead developer or engineering lead who owns technical guidance and organizes the team's delivery. She is often more focused on delivery and does not handle people management which a founder still handles.
Example for a small team (~20 engineers)
At that point, the company will introduce middle management positions, usually an Engineering Manager (EM) position. The EM supports a group of 5 to 10 engineers, especially on human resources and project management aspects (ex: hiring, onboarding, organizing, coaching, delivery plan, reporting).
In some companies, EM can be very hands-on on the system part and provide technical and architecture guidance, playing both technical leader and people/team leader. Usually, the company starts to split tech guidance and people management; both require significant and specific expertise.
Individual Contributor (IC) Track People Manager Track Engineer - Senior Engineer - Tech Lead Engineering Manager
Example for a medium team (50+ engineers)
You'll start to have more levels and more expert positions at that stage. The company has usually introduced the role of Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or VP Engineering. This role is about leading the whole engineering department; the engineering managers will report the person having this role.
Leadership has usually introduced another new role to support the technical guidance at a broader scale, for the whole system or a large part of the system. This role can be named Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, etc.
Individual Contributor (IC) Track People Manager Track Engineer - Senior Engineer - Tech Lead Engineering Manager Staff Engineer VP Engineering
Example for a large team (100 to 1000+ engineers)
At this stage, the engineering department will create a lot of new intermediary positions to capture the level of expertise and area of ownership and impact. Welcome to Senior Engineer I and II, Engineering Director, etc.
Individual Contributor (IC) Track People Manager Track Engineer I - Engineer II - Senior Engineer I - Senior Engineer II - Tech Lead Engineering Manager Senior Tech Lead Senior Engineering Manager Staff Engineer Engineering Director Senior Staff Engineer Senior Engineering Director Principal Engineer VP Engineering Senior Principal Engineer Senior VP Engineering

albo is a leading fintech company offering financial products to individuals and SMBs with the mission to bring financial freedom to everyone everywhere.
About The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer you'll design, build, and operate the microservices that power albo's core financial products â from card issuing and authorization to credit lines, payments, and money movement. You'll own services end-to-end across our polyglot, event-driven platform, making pragmatic architectural decisions that keep money-critical flows correct, idempotent, and observable at scale. You'll work close to the domain (SPEI, ledgers, credit, authorization) and close to production, partnering with Product, Infra, and other engineering squads to ship reliable financial infrastructure.
What Youâll Be Doing At Albo
- Design, build, and maintain backend microservices in Go and Java/Quarkus within our domain-oriented architecture (customer, account, transactional, and shared domains).
- Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment to QA/SBX/PROD, monitoring, and on-call ownership of what you ship.
- Build event-driven and REST integrations across services (Pub/Sub, service-to-service REST via our private-proxy mesh), with strong guarantees around idempotency, reconciliation, and failure handling (dead-letter/reprocess, no silent data loss).
- Model and evolve data across MongoDB and SingleStore/MemSQL, keeping dual-write flows consistent between the display source of truth and what card authorization actually validates.
- Ship through our CI/CD (Jenkins shared pipelines, containerized deploys to GKE/Kubernetes on GCP), managing configuration and secrets via GCP Secret Manager.

Venture Media is a full-service content marketing agency. We help businesses grow through social media, podcast production, SEO and AI visibility, and full-funnel content systems. We are a small, fast-moving remote team that ships real client work every week.
The role
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support content production and daily execution across our client accounts and internal brands. You will keep the content engine running: scheduling posts, prepping assets, and running research. Your job will be across assistant and marketing work, so you should like variety.
Marketing expertise is a plus for this role, but it is not required. What matters most is having a basic understanding of marketing and a genuine desire to learn and develop deeper expertise. We use automation and clear systems for the heavy lifting, so your job is less about busywork and more about keeping things organized, checking quality, and helping our content and clients look great. You will work directly with the founder and learn how a modern agency runs end to end.
What you will do
- Content coordination and publishing. Schedule and publish blogs and posts, keep our content calendar organized, and make sure everything goes out on time. Much of the writing is already automated, so your role is organizing, reviewing, and adding the final human touch.
- Quality control. Do a first pass on assets from our editors, proofread copy and decks before they go to clients, and make sure feedback actually gets addressed.
- Research and reporting. Run market research for projects as needed, and help pull simple analytics reports so we know what is working.
- Social and community support. Help manage engagement and distribution across our platforms, and keep our own brand active and consistent.
- Light marketing execution. Learn the basics of SEO and AI search visibility, and help apply them to our content. We will teach you this piece by piece.
- General right-hand work. Jump on whatever the day needs. Some days that is research, some days it is organizing a project in our task tools, some days it is prepping something for a client.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1 to 2 years in a marketing, social media, communications, or administrative role, ideally at an agency
- Extremely organized and proactive, able to juggle multiple priorities and stay detailed under deadline
- Comfortable with the major social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and scheduling tools
- Familiar with project management software
- A reliable communicator who keeps managers updated and follows through without being chased
- A flexible team player who adapts to shifting priorities and jumps in where needed
- Clear written English and comfort in an async remote setup
- Available during US Pacific business hours so we can work in real time
- Dedicated to this as your main full-time focus, not a side gig
Nice to have (not required)
- SEO or AI search visibility experience
- Experience with task managers like ClickUp
Who this is not for
This is not a fit if you need constant hand-holding, avoid feedback, or prefer slow work with a lot of meetings. We move fast, hold clear standards, and expect you to own your tasks.
What you get
- An hourly rate of $20 to $25 USD, based on your experience.
- Direct mentorship from the founder and a front-row seat to how a marketing agency runs
- Real room to grow. As we grow, you grow, in both responsibility and pay
- A long-term home, not a short-term contract
How to apply
Submit your resume and a short note about yourself, and answer this one question: what is one thing you would most want to get better at in this role, and why?
We read every application that answers it.

Creative Strategist - Ramen Bae
ABOUT RAMEN BAE
Ramen Bae is the original dried ramen toppings company on a mission to level up the ramen category.
We started three years ago as a passion project because we wanted better instant ramen toppings and couldnât find anything like it. Since then, weâve gone viral, built a loyal fan base, grown to over 400,000 customers, and recently launched protein ramen. Weâre still just getting started.
Weâre a small, fast-moving team of builders who take ownership, move quickly, and figure things out as we go. Weâre looking for another like-minded person who is excited to help us build the next great ramen brand.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramen Bae is looking for a Creative Strategist to build and lead the creative engine behind our DTC ramen brand.
This person will own performance-driven creative across paid social, with Meta currently being our largest channel. Youâll be responsible for understanding our products, customers, audience awareness stages, and performance data, then turning those insights into ad concepts, hooks, scripts, creator briefs, and video assets that convert.
This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, creative strategy, consumer psychology, and execution. The ideal candidate is analytical enough to understand what is working and why, creative enough to find new angles that break through, and scrappy enough to move quickly from idea to launch.
This is a high-impact role with significant room for leadership and growth. Youâll work closely with the CMO and growth team to build a repeatable system for producing high-performing creative at scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Strategy
⢠Own creative strategy across paid social and performance marketing channels, with a strong focus on Meta.
⢠Build and manage a repeatable creative testing framework across hooks, formats, scripts, offers, concepts, personas, and audience segments.
⢠Develop creative angles based on customer pain points, product benefits, trends, competitor research, customer reviews, and performance data.
⢠Think through the full customer journey, from problem-unaware audiences to highly aware, ready-to-buy customers.
⢠Own the pipeline of performance video assets, including UGC, creator-led ads, founder-led content, product demos, recipe content, narrative ads, comparison ads, and social-first concepts.
⢠Analyze creative performance to identify winning patterns, scalable concepts, and opportunities for improvement.
⢠Help improve ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, and revenue through stronger creative strategy and execution.
Creative Production & Execution
⢠Manage the creative process from concept to brief, scripting, production, editing, feedback, and final delivery.
⢠Write compelling hooks, scripts, ad briefs, and creator directions that are clear, strategic, and performance-oriented.
⢠Direct creators, editors, freelancers, agencies, and internal team members to produce high-performing assets.
⢠Build systems for creative ideation, testing, asset organization, feedback, iteration, and reporting.
⢠Ensure creative is both on-brand and built to perform in paid social environments.
⢠Stay on top of social trends, competitor ads, creator formats, and emerging creative opportunities.
⢠Jump in wherever needed to keep creative moving, whether that means writing scripts, reviewing edits, sourcing creators, organizing assets, or helping bring concepts to life.
Strong bonus: Ability to shoot and edit your own creator-style content.
REQUIREMENTS
⢠3+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social creative, DTC ecommerce, or a performance creative agency.
⢠Strong understanding of paid social creative, especially for Meta.
⢠Deep understanding of what makes video ads convert, including hooks, pacing, messaging, storytelling, offers, and visual structure.
⢠Experience building or contributing to a creative testing system that generates new concepts consistently.
⢠Strong analytical ability and comfort reviewing performance data to understand what is working, why it is working, and what to test next.
⢠Ability to deeply understand a product, customer persona, and the emotional and functional reasons people buy.
⢠Strong creative instincts, copywriting ability, and visual taste.
⢠Comfort developing new creative angles based on product benefits, customer pain points, cultural trends, competitor research, and performance insights.
⢠Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take ownership without needing constant direction.
⢠Comfortable working on a small team where everyone is expected to be hands-on, proactive, and accountable.
⢠Strong collaborator who can work effectively with internal team members, creators, editors, freelancers, and agencies.
⢠Curious, adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable moving fast in a startup environment.
WHO THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR
This role is perfect for someone who loves combining data, creativity, and execution.
You want to understand why an ad works, not just whether it worked. You can look at performance data, customer reviews, product benefits, and social trends, then turn those insights into creative ideas that drive growth.
Youâre comfortable leading the creative process, but youâre also willing to execute. You bring a strong creative point of view, a deep interest in performance marketing, and the hustle to move quickly from idea to launch.
This is an opportunity to help shape the creative engine of a growing DTC brand and play a key role in how Ramen Bae reaches, converts, and retains customers.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
⢠$80,000â$115,000 base salary, based on experience and leveling
⢠Equity options in a profitable, rapidly growing company
⢠Flexible PTO and paid holidays
⢠Health, dental, and vision benefits
⢠Fully Remote
