$180000 - $220000 Full time
Full Stack Product Engineer
  • Pivotal Health
  • Los Angeles
full stack backend react ai

About Pivotal Health

Pivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.

Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, they’re often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.

Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement they’re entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams.

Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. We’re building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build new products at Pivotal from the ground up.

This role sits on the AI/ML Engineering team. You’ll work on new product surfaces that combine software, data, workflow design, and AI to solve high-value customer problems. The role is full stack, but intentionally backend-leaning. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable owning product behavior end to end while being especially strong in APIs, backend systems, data flows, and the logic that makes great products actually work.

This is a high-ambiguity, high-velocity role. You will not be handed perfectly scoped tickets or asked to maintain a mature product in a narrow lane. You’ll help shape what we build, how we build it, and how quickly we can turn ideas into valuable product experiences. The upside is massive impact: the products you work on can materially change how the company operates and how customers experience Pivotal.

We also want someone who is AI-first in how they work. Part of this team’s job is building AI-powered products, but part of it is also helping the company get dramatically better at using AI. We want a product engineer who is personally fluent with AI tools and can use them to move faster, think better, and build stronger products.

What You’ll Do

  • Build new product experiences from 0 to 1 across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.

  • Design and implement backend systems that power product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Contribute to frontend product development in React-based applications, especially where product quality depends on tight frontend-backend iteration.

  • Work closely with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped product.

  • Prototype quickly, then harden what works into maintainable product systems.

  • Build internal and customer-facing workflows that use AI, structured data, and software automation to increase leverage.

  • Help define product requirements through direct technical judgment, not just implementation after decisions are made.

  • Improve product quality through instrumentation, testing, thoughtful system design, and strong engineering hygiene.

  • Use AI actively in your own workflow for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration.

  • Raise the team’s velocity by bringing AI-native working habits, practical engineering judgment, and strong product instincts.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6 to 12 months, strong outcomes in this role would include:

  • shipping meaningful new product capabilities quickly

  • taking ownership of backend-heavy product surfaces with minimal oversight

  • helping turn vague opportunities into real shipped workflows

  • improving product quality and speed through strong engineering execution

  • contributing to a team culture that is highly effective at using AI to build and learn faster

  • becoming a trusted technical partner to product, design, and operations in a fast-moving environment

Who You Are

  • You are a strong product-minded software engineer who likes building things that users feel directly.

  • You are full stack, but your center of gravity is backend systems and product logic.

  • You are comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments and can make good decisions without waiting for perfect clarity.

  • You have a high ownership mindset and like driving work from rough idea to production.

  • You care about product quality, not just technical elegance.

  • You are an AI power user yourself. You actively use AI in your day-to-day work and have strong judgment about how it can accelerate engineering and product development.

  • You communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional partners.

  • You want to be in an environment where a great engineer can have outsized impact very quickly.

We’d Be Especially Excited If You Have

  • strong backend experience in Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systems

  • experience building product backends, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logic

  • experience contributing meaningfully to modern React-based frontend applications

  • experience with TypeScript, React Router or Remix-style frameworks, and product UI development

  • experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systems

  • experience with GCP or similar cloud environments

  • experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational software

  • experience in fast-moving startup environments where engineers help define the product, not just implement it

  • experience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains

Why This Role Is Interesting

  • You’ll work on new products, not just incremental maintenance.

  • The problems are meaningful, messy, and important. They sit close to real customer and business pain.

  • You’ll have real room to shape direction. This is a role for someone who wants to help create, not just execute.

  • The team sits at the intersection of AI, product, data, and operations, which creates unusual leverage for strong engineers.

  • The pace is fast, the ambiguity is real, and the impact can be massive.

  • You’ll be able to use both sides of your skill set: deep backend engineering and pragmatic full stack product development.

Example Technical Environment

Our current environment includes technologies like:

  • Python and FastAPI on the backend

  • PostgreSQL and relational data models

  • React-based web applications with modern routing and TypeScript

  • GCP-hosted services and internal APIs

  • AI and workflow systems that combine application logic, structured data, and model-backed experiences

You do not need to match this stack perfectly, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and shipping in this kind of environment.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. While we primarily hire around our core hubs–Los Angeles and New York–we remain open to exceptional talent outside those regions. Remote and hybrid flexibility varies by role and team, and is outlined in each job description.

If you’re excited by solving complex problems and making a real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive compensation, including equity

  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Retirement savings plan through 401(k)

  • Flexible time off

  • Opportunities for company-wide connection and events

Ready to Make an Impact?
We’re building something meaningful; and we want you on the team.

Bring your ideas, curiosity, and drive, and let’s transform healthcare reimbursement together.

The Role 👋
  • As a Staff Engineer you’ll work with product and engineering across multiple squads to ensure the right trade-offs are being made and that dependencies and communication is managed effectively. Staff Engineers are the most visible engineers in the organisation and demonstrate technical excellence and our cultural values across all squads and to teams across the wider organisation.
  • Have a strong technical background, including 8+ years of experience designing and engineering large scale systems.
  • Lead squads to sensible architectural decisions on the most complex technical problems.
  • Measure your success in terms of business impact, not lines of code.
  • Internalise the best ideas from across the organisation, humbly setting a vision that others can get behind.
  • Embrace DevOps culture: You build it, you run it.
  • Work well cross-functionally and earn trust from co-workers at all levels.
  • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones.
  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise.
  • You challenge the existing approach when you see the cliff edge racing towards us, but also get on board once the options have been debated and the team has made a decision.
  • You are comfortably organised amongst chaos.
  • You are a broad thinker and have the capability to see the potential impact of decisions across the wider business.
  • Utilise GenerativeAI: Leverage GenAI tools to increase productivity and enhance decision making processes within the role

Nice to Have Skills 🌟
  • Experience with AI/LLM integrations and Generative AI applications
  • Knowledge of intelligent document processing and NLP techniques
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) and search platforms (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch)
  • Exposure to agentic workflows or orchestration frameworks for multi-step AI reasoning, familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), and frameworks like Claude Code

Tech stack 🧱
  • We're pragmatic about our technology choices. These are some of the things we use at the moment:
  • 🗃 Python
  • 🗄️ PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MySQL
  • 🎨 TypeScript, React, styled-components
  • 🔧 Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, pytest
  • ☁️ AWS, GCP
  • 🚀 ECS Fargate, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions

How we expect you to work 👷‍♀️
  • We expect you to work in these ways, as well as encouraging and enabling these practices from others:
  • Collaborate 💬 - We work in cross-functional, mission driven, autonomous squads that gel over time. We pair program to work better through shared experience and knowledge.
  • Focus on outcomes over outputs ✅ - Solving a problem for users that translates to business results is our goal. Measurements focused on that goal help us to understand if we are succeeding.
  • Practice continuous improvement 💡 - We optimise for feedback now, rather than presume what might be needed in the future and introduce complexity before it will be used. This means we learn faster. We share learnings in blame-free formats, so that we do not repeat things that have failed, but still have confidence to innovate.
  • Seek to understand our users 👂 - We constantly seek understanding from data and conversations to better serve our users' needs, taking an active part in research to hear from them directly and regularly.
  • Embrace and enable continuous deployment 🤖 - Seamless delivery of changes into an environment - without manual intervention - is essential for us to ensure that we are highly productive; consider resiliency; and practice security by design.
  • Test outside-in, test first 🚦 - TDD keeps us confident in moving fast, and deploying regularly. We want to solve user problems, and so we test with that mindset - writing scenarios first, then considering our solution; coupling tests to behaviour, rather than implementation.
  • You build it, you run it ⚙️ - We embrace DevOps culture and end-to-end ownership of products and features. Every engineer, regardless of their role, has the opportunity to lead delivery of features from start to finish.
  • Be cloud native ☁️ - We leverage automation and hosted services to deliver resilient, secure services quickly and consistently. Where SaaS tools help us achieve more productivity and better quality results for a cheap price, we use these to automate low value tasks.

How we expect you to behave ❤️
  • We embrace difference and know that when we can be ourselves at work, we are happier, more motivated, and creative. We want to be able to bring our whole selves to work, have our own perspectives and know that we belong. As such, through your behaviours at work, we expect you to reflect and actively sustain a healthy engineering environment that looks like this:
  • A wide range of voices heard to the benefit of all
  • Teams that are clearly happy, engaged, and laugh together
  • Perceivable safety to have an opinion or ask a question
  • No egos - people listen to and learn from others at all levels, with strong opinions held loosely

What makes working here better 😍
  • This is a truly hybrid role, offering engineers the flexibility to work from home while also providing opportunities to collaborate in person with the team when it adds value. There’s no fixed requirement for days in the office, instead, we focus on creating space for engineers to engage meaningfully, whether that’s in-person for whiteboarding sessions or remote for deep focus work.
  • Work-life balance 🌴 - 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) each year, and enhanced family leave allowances.
  • Competitive salary & equity 🏦 - We want people to have a serious stake in the business.
  • Good kit 💻 - Your choice of the best laptop, running macOS.
  • Team socials 🎉 - The opportunity to get to know each other outside of work.
  • Company socials 🥡 - A chance to catch up and meet new colleagues weekly over informal office breakfasts Lunches and dinners on OakNorth - or at our free barista bar every day.
  • Commuter support 🚲 - We offer the cycle to work and EV scheme.

About Us

We’re OakNorth Bank and we embolden entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions, understand their markets, and apply data intelligence to everyday decisions to scale successfully at pace.

Banking should be barrier-free. It’s a belief at our very core, inspired by our entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the unmet financial needs of millions, and delivered by our data-driven tools.

And for those who love helping businesses thrive? Our savings accounts help diversify the high street and create new jobs, all while earning savers some of the highest interest on the market.

But we go beyond finance, to empower our people, encourage professional growth and create an environment where everyone can thrive. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves and succeed.

Our story

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.

Why was it so difficult for a profitable business with impressive cashflow, retained clients, and clear commercial success to get a loan?

The industry was backward-looking and too focused on historic financials, rather than future potential.

So, what if there was a bank, founded by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs? One that offered a dramatically better borrowing experience for businesses?

No more what ifs, OakNorth Bank exists.

About Akuity

With the move to the cloud, Kubernetes has become widely adopted by DevOps and Platform Engineering teams, but it has also added complexity. While scaling Kubernetes at Intuit, the Akuity founders started building Argo CD in order to streamline the adoption of Kubernetes. Argo CD helps developers own, understand and deploy their K8s deployments via GitOps.

Today, Argo CD is the third most popular project in the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) and is used by 70% of companies who are using Kubernetes in production. The list of Argo CD users includes companies like Intuit, BlackRock, Tesla, Major League Baseball, Peloton, and many more.

The team founded Akuity in 2021 to enable enterprises to ship software faster and more reliably with modern GitOps best practices. The Akuity Platform enables teams to manage the development and deployment across hundreds – if not thousands – of Kubernetes clusters from a single control plane. Trusted by top companies around the globe, the Akuity Platform provides the only end-to-end GitOps platform for the enterprises.

Our mission is to simplify the software delivery process so that DevOps and Platform Engineering teams can move fast, and deploy code effortlessly without the fear of breaking things.

The Role

As one of the senior engineers at Akuity, you will work on actively building and continuously improving Akuity's SaaS platform for our global developer community. We're looking for developers who build tools with an empathic mindset and are comfortable cross collaborating with others. You know developers and how to build tools to solve their pain points. Beyond building developer-centric tools, you will mentor team members around engineering best practices, participate in product development, and help contribute to the company's culture. This is an exciting position for someone to impact developer tools and the developer ecosystem globally.

DevRev

At DevRev, we’re building the future of work with Computer – your AI teammate.

Computer is not just another tool. It’s built on the belief that the future of work should be about genuine human connection and collaboration – not piling on more apps.
Computer is the best kind of teammate: it amplifies your strengths, takes repetition and frustration out of your day, and gives you more time and energy to do your best work.

How?

Easy: it’s the only platform capable of…

Complete data unification
Most AI products focus on either structured data (like CRM records and support tickets), or unstructured data (like documents and emails). Computer AirSync connects everything, unifying all your data sources (like Google Workspace, Jira, Notion) into one AI-ready source of truth: Computer Memory.

Powerful search, reasoning, and action
Once connected to all your tools and apps, Computer is embedded in your full business context. It can find and summarize, sure. Even more impressive: it offers employees insights, strategic and proactive suggestions, plus powerful agentic actions.

Extensions for your teams and customers
Computer doesn’t make you choose between new software and old. Its AI-native platform lets you extend existing tools with sophisticated apps and agents. So your teams – and your customers – can take action, seamlessly. These agents work alongside you: updating workflows, coordinating across teams, and syncing back to your systems.

This isn’t just software. Computer brings people back together, breaking down silos and ushering in the future of teamwork, through human-AI collaboration. Stop managing software. Stop wasting time. Start solving bigger problems, building better products, and making your customers happier.

We call this Team Intelligence. It’s why DevRev exists.

Trusted by global companies across multiple industries, DevRev is backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield, with $150M+ raised. We are 650+ people, across eight global offices.

Responsibilities

  • Own and resolve complex production bugs in frontend (ReactJS) services.
Lead root cause analysis (RCAs), contribute to postmortems, and take part in service health reviews.

Associate Chief of Staff the Co Founders
  • Radicle Science
  • California, California, United States
embedded sys admin infosec education

Radicle Science is seeking an exceptional, AI-native Associate Chief of Staff to serve as a force multiplier to Co-Founders Pelin Thorogood and Dr. Jeff Chen.

This is a high-leverage, founder-facing role designed for a high-ceiling operator ready to grow into strategic leadership as Radicle scales. You may come from an executive assistant, executive operations, founder associate, project management, or operations background. This is not a traditional administrative role — it blends executive operations, founder leverage, project coordination, AI-enabled systems building, and strategic follow-through.

The right person thrives in dynamic environments, brings order to complexity, and moves with urgency, judgment, and creativity. After meetings, you've already reviewed the notes, identified priorities, drafted follow-ups, updated trackers, and moved the work forward — without being asked.

This role is built for the AI era. You will use agentic AI — Claude, ChatGPT, workflow automation, and emerging tools — not as a nice-to-have, but as your core operating system. You'll be expected to 10x your own output through AI and help build the operational infrastructure that lets Radicle move faster than companies 10x our size. If you're not already experimenting with AI agents, automations, and LLM-powered workflows in your daily work, this role is probably not for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFounder Leverage & Executive Operations
  • Own and continuously optimize the operating rhythm of the co-founders, including calendars, inboxes, meeting preparation, travel, communications, and priority management
  • Ensure Pelin and Jeff are fully prepared for high-stakes meetings with agendas, materials, context, desired outcomes, and follow-up plans
  • Dynamically prioritize and re-prioritize based on evolving business needs, strategic importance, and founder bandwidth
  • Draft polished communications, manage timely follow-through, and help ensure critical relationships and priorities do not fall through the cracks
AI-Enabled Productivity & Systems
  • Use AI tools, LLMs, agentic workflows, and automations to plan, draft, synthesize, organize, and accelerate execution
  • Build and continuously improve AI-enabled systems that multiply executive and organizational productivity
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive workflows across scheduling, communications, meeting notes, research, reporting, and follow-up
  • Continuously explore, evaluate, and deploy new AI tools and workflows that help Radicle move at the speed of AI
  • Help establish Radicle’s internal playbook for AI-augmented operations
Operating Rhythm & Strategic Follow-Through
  • Track key meetings, decisions, action items, owners, deadlines, and next steps to ensure momentum and accountability
  • Independently review meeting notes — including AI-generated summaries — identify priorities, and drive follow-up without needing detailed direction
  • Support the cadence of leadership meetings, company rocks, strategic initiatives, board preparation, investor follow-ups, hiring priorities, partnerships, and other founder-led projects
  • Translate conversations into decisions, owners, next steps, and accountability loops
Project & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Support cross-functional projects led by Pelin and Jeff from planning through execution
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders to reduce friction, surface blockers, and keep priorities moving
  • Prepare high-quality materials for leadership meetings, retreats, board interactions, investor discussions, and strategic initiatives
  • Serve as a central coordination point for direct reports, leadership team members, advisors, partners, and other key stakeholders
Travel, Events & Relationship Management
  • Coordinate seamless business and occasional personal travel, including flights, accommodations, itineraries, and related logistics
  • Plan and execute high-quality internal and external events, including venue selection, guest experience, logistics, and menu planning
  • Maintain and organize key relationships across investors, partners, advisors, clients, prospects, and external stakeholders
  • Represent Radicle with polish, warmth, discretion, and strong judgment

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4–8+ years of experience in executive support, executive operations, founder support, project management, operations, or a similar high-leverage role
  • Experience supporting senior executives, founders, or fast-moving leaders in high-growth environments
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI agents and LLMs to independently plan, execute, and iterate on complex workflows — not just prompting, but building systems and agentic workflows that multiply your output
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, time management, and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft polished, thoughtful, and context-aware communications
  • High discretion, professionalism, judgment, and emotional intelligence
  • A strong bias toward action, ownership, and closing loops
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to continuously learn, experiment, and optimize
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, change, and speed

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in startups, healthtech, biotech, wellness, technology, or other high-growth environments
  • Exposure to Chief of Staff-like responsibilities, executive operations, project management, or internal operating systems
  • Familiarity with EOS or similar organizational models
  • Experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously
  • Comfort with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, Claude, CoWork, project management platforms, and other AI-enabled productivity tools
  • Experience building automated workflows or integrating AI tools into operational processes
COMPENSATION & GROWTH

This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with a company recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies and by Fast Company as a “World Changing Idea” and “Most Innovative Workplace.”

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000 (depending on experience)
  • Performance-Based Bonus
  • Equity: Meaningful equity stake in a high-growth healthtech company
  • Clear path from operational leadership to strategic leadership as Radicle scales

We’re looking for someone who sees this role not as a job, but as a launchpad — someone who wants to grow alongside a company building something that will permanently alter the course of health and wellness for all future generations.

WORKING STYLE

You are highly proactive, exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, dependable, polished, calm under pressure, creatively resourceful, and energized by getting things done.

You love being at the center of the action, connecting dots, anticipating needs, creating clarity, and helping high-impact leaders move faster and better.

This is not a traditional corporate Chief of Staff role where the work is primarily strategy decks and executive advising from a distance. It is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you may move from drafting a board follow-up, to preparing a founder for an investor meeting, to cleaning up a messy workflow, to coordinating a leadership offsite — sometimes in the same day.

This is a remote-first role with flexibility, with a strong preference for candidates based on the West Coast, ideally in Southern California. The person in this role must be able to work West Coast hours and travel to San Diego approximately 4–6 times per year for company meetings, leadership sessions, and other key in-person gatherings.

If you are looking for a predictable 8–5 role with static responsibilities, this is probably not the right fit. If you are excited by speed, mission, trust, variety, AI-enabled leverage, and the opportunity to grow with a category-defining company, this could be an extraordinary role.

About Radicle Science

Radicle Science is a healthtech pioneer named Fast Company "World Changing Idea" for creating the future of proven, precision wellness. Our 10-year vision: A world where 1 billion people dramatically improve their health every day with precision wellness solutions proven by Radicle Science.

Culture

We seek Rebels With a Cause — team members who are both a skill fit and a values fit. Our core values:

  • Rebel with a Cause — Challenge the status quo, anchored in mission and integrity
  • Audacious (without the ego) — Swing big, iterate fast, don't wait for perfect
  • GSD — Take ownership, follow through, deliver reliably
  • Evidence-Driven — Test, measure, learn, improve
  • Grounded Brilliance — Sharp and humble; curious, respectful, collaborative
  • Transparent — Communicate clearly and candidly so trust stays high
The Team

Radicle is a team of 35+ Rebels, co-founded in 2020 by Pelin Thorogood, M.Eng/MBA (tech founder, INC 200 Female Founder, Trustee & Vice Chair of UCSD Foundation) and Dr. Jeff Chen, MD/MBA (physician-scientist, founded and led UCLA's natural products research center). Advisors include Peter Diamandis (Fortune "50 Greatest World Leaders"), Dr. Jonathan Fielding (UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, White House Advisor), and Pamela Harbour (former FTC Commissioner).

The work will be hard — but if we succeed, we will permanently alter the course of health and wellness for all future generations.

  • Clear, timely communicator
  • Flexible when plans shift; you adapt quickly
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Firefly) to accelerate ideation, wireframing, and iteration

Applied AI Engineer Europe
  • Amigo
  • Amsterdam
ai engineer python healthcare

About Amigo

Amigo partners with healthcare organizations to deploy robust AI infrastructure that directly serves patients and providers. Our agents handle clinical workflows and patient engagement across the entire journey: pre-visit intake, care navigation, post-visit care plans, patient monitoring, and more.

We're fresh off our Series A backed by Tier 1 investors like Madrona, General Catalyst, and Optum Ventures. Our work is validated with leading academic medical institutions. Our agents have reached 3M+ patient encounters and are on track to 10x this year.

About this role

The Applied AI Engineer role at Amigo is a launchpad. You'll ship production AI agents end-to-end — writing the code, shaping product decisions, and sitting with customers as they deploy — and in doing so, you'll build the exact skill set that opens doors to the next chapter of your career at Amigo.

This role is designed to help you grow into other parts of the company. Applied AI Engineers move into one of four paths within 6–12 months:

  • Applied AI: stay in the org; go deeper on agent architecture, verification frameworks, and the hardest customer problems; become a technical leader on the applied team

  • Product Management: if you gravitate toward roadmap, discovery, and shaping what we build next

  • Sales Engineering: if you thrive in pre-sales, technical storytelling, and closing enterprise deals

  • Software Engineering: if you want to go deeper on platform, infrastructure, and core systems

You won't have to guess which fits. This role will actively help you explore each path, give you projects that stretch in those directions, and sponsor the internal transition when you're ready. People who want to stay on the applied side long-term can do that too — but this role is explicitly built so you don't have to.

What you'll do

  • Implement context graphs that enable agents to select the right reasoning mode (lookup, pattern recognition, exploration) based on problem complexity

  • Build and optimize agent configurations, including static personas, dynamic behaviors, and functional memory systems

  • Design bounded Operational Patient Domains (OPDs) with explicit inclusions, exclusions, capabilities, and escalation rules

  • Implement verification loops and simulation-based testing to validate agent performance against customer KPIs

  • Write Python code for tool integrations and API orchestration within customer environments

  • Build evaluation suites that gate deployments using customer-specific success metrics

  • Collaborate with domain experts through structured interviews to capture reasoning patterns and clinical protocols

  • Support technical power users through git-based workflows for rapid iteration

  • Implement adversarial testing to systematically identify and prevent failure modes

  • Ensure agents maintain audit-ready provenance with version pinning and evidence links

  • Contribute to systematizing implementation patterns across different problem domains

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of production software engineering experience

  • Strong Python skills including proper use of typing, and experience building highly reliable systems that interact with external APIs (schema design, retry strategies, error propagation)

  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building on AI platforms

  • Ability to implement systems with strict reliability requirements

  • Understanding of testing and verification methodologies

  • Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to deliver technical solutions

  • Familiarity with git workflows and collaborative development

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for complex systems

  • Ability to balance theoretical concepts with practical implementation constraints

  • Clear technical communication for both engineering and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal)

  • Background with simulation, synthetic data, or evaluation frameworks

  • Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures

  • Experience with observability and monitoring in production environments

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR)

Benefits

Health & Wellness

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Daily catered lunch and dinner

  • Mental health support and wellness coaching

  • Flexible wellness stipend for fitness, therapy, or personal growth

Growth & Development

  • Annual learning budget for courses, books, or conferences

  • Conference attendance budget for professional development

  • Annual team offsite

  • Academic collaboration opportunities

  • Unlimited PTO

Our Core Values

  1. Patients Win, We Win

If patients aren't getting better care, we haven't earned the right to scale. Every internal decision gets pressure-tested: does this make patients' lives better? If we can't draw the line, we question why we're doing it.

  2. High Standards, High Care

We hold a high bar for the team because patients are counting on us to get this right. But high standards only work with genuine investment in each other. You can take risks, admit mistakes, and challenge ideas—not despite our standards, but because of them.

  3. Thoughtful Urgency

We move fast by default, but speed without judgment is recklessness. The discipline is knowing which decisions are reversible vs. not. In healthcare AI, the companies that win will be fast everywhere they can be and careful everywhere they must be. We build the muscle to do both.

  4. Intensely Measured

We instrument patient outcomes, provider ROI, system performance, and clinical accuracy. But data without action is surveillance. Every metric should have an owner, a threshold, and a response plan. If we're measuring something but never acting on it, we stop measuring it.

Who Builds With Us

  • Low ego: Politics and territory don't interest you. The best ideas win, regardless of who has them.

  • Direct: You say the hard thing, challenge ideas openly, and commit fully once decided.

  • High agency: You thrive on trust rather than instruction. When you see something is broken, you fix it. You don’t file tickets and wait for someone else.

  • Bar of excellence: You hold yourself to a bar most people wouldn't, and you want teammates who do the same.

  • Skeptical: You push back on rules that don’t make sense and question assumptions that haven’t earned their place.

senior product designer designer design

This designer will lead the vision and execution of the fan and customer experience across GoFan, the leading platform for high school digital ticketing, while shaping the broader ticketing ecosystem spanning mobile apps, web surfaces, and box office hardware.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own complex, high-impact problem spaces—from discovery and strategy through execution and iteration. You’ll partner closely with PMs, engineers, and go-to-market teams to expand GoFan’s reach to new markets and customer segments, crafting experiences that meet the unique needs of schools, leagues, and organizations beyond our core audience.

You'll also play a key role in reframing and visualizing the next evolution of GoFan’s product vision and brand position—ensuring the platform feels cohesive, future-ready, and purpose-built for growth.

The Outcomes You’ll Deliver

-Drive the next evolution of the GoFan experience, shaping how the platform serves new markets while maintaining the simplicity and reliability our customer’s trust

-Design seamless, conversion-oriented B2C experiences that elevate the fan journey—from event discovery to checkout and entry

-Help define and visualize the future vision of GoFan, collaborating with product and marketing teams to align design direction with brand and business strategy

-Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across a growing product ecosystem

-Mentor and provide feedback to other designers to raise the quality, cohesion, and impact of our product experiences

\n

In This Role, You Can Expect To
  • Own and evolve the end-to-end fan and customer experience across GoFan’s apps, web, and Box Office products
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to explore and define opportunities in new markets and use cases
  • Deliver high-quality prototypes, interaction specs, and documentation that enable smooth collaboration and implementation
  • Use data, research, and customer insights to validate solutions and inform design strategy
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure design decisions align with product vision, technical feasibility, and market positioning

To Thrive In This Role, You Have
  • 5–8 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong systems thinking, polished UI, and measurable product impact
  • Proven success designing consumer-facing (B2C) products with large, diverse user bases—ideally mobile-first and transaction-oriented
  • Proven experience leading design for mobile-first, multi-platform products (native apps + responsive web)
  • Mastery of Figma and deep familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and modern design workflows
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate product vision into clear, actionable design direction
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—you can articulate the “why” behind your work and align teams around a shared vision
  • A collaborative approach that helps teams align around the user and deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences

How You Play
  • Ownership over Participation- You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.

  • Team over Stars- You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.

  • Growth over Comfort- You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.

  • Fairness over Popularity- You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others’ perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making.

Family Coordinator
  • Meadow Memorials
  • Kingston, Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica
hr sys admin education coordinator
At Meadow, we’re reimagining end-of-life care - a $23B industry untouched by modern software or service thinking. In under a year, we became the largest cremation provider in Los Angeles, with 80+ NPS and hundreds of families served monthly. Now we’re scaling across the U.S. and hiring globally.

We believe great people live everywhere. Our team works across continents and time zones, grounded by shared values: high standards, deep empathy, and a drive to do work that matters.

Learn more about our global teams here. If this sounds like your kind of team, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

We’re hiring Family Coordinators to support families from the moment a loved one enters our care through the final steps of the cremation process. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring every case is handled with accuracy, compassion, and attention to detail.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a dedicated book of cases, serving as a primary point of contact for families, and handling inbound inquiries related to those cases. You’ll coordinate key parts of the process - including transportation, documentation, cremation scheduling, and ashes return - while ensuring families receive clear communication and thoughtful support throughout.

At the same time, this is a highly collaborative environment. While each representative owns assigned cases, the team works closely together to support the broader case load, step in during high-volume moments, and ensure no family experiences delays or gaps in care. Success in this role requires both strong personal accountability and a team-first mindset.

This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment. We’re in active build mode, and this role offers meaningful growth for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and motivated to support others during an important moment in their lives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a dedicated book of cases from intake through final resolution.
  • Support families via phone, text, and email with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Guide families through each step of the process while building trust and rapport.
  • Coordinate key case milestones, including transportation, documentation, cremation scheduling, and ashes return.
  • Collaborate with teammates to support the broader case load and maintain continuity of care.
  • Assist with team coverage, escalations, and urgent case needs as volumes shift.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to keep cases moving efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, update systems promptly, and proactively flag issues.
  • Ensure smooth case handoffs and anticipate downstream impacts.
  • Work across HubSpot, Aircall, Slack, GSuite, and our internal case management system.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing, operations, or hospitality roles.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Clear, calm communicator who builds trust quickly, whether over the phone, email, or text.
  • Strong multitasker — able to move quickly while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Accountable and proactive: you take ownership, close the loop, and surface issues early.
  • Energized by our mission and excited about the opportunity to help shape something new in a category that truly needs it.
  • A home setup that supports the work - see our tech requirements for details.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in environments where empathy and execution were equally important.
  • Spanish fluency — many of the families we serve speak it.

Details:

  • Remote, full-time
  • Compensation: $5.50-$9/hr (USD)
  • Tools: HubSpot (CRM), Aircall (phone), Slack, and our case management system
  • Shift: Full-time (8 hours, consistent schedule)
    • Days:
      • Monday–Friday
    • Hours: US Day Shift:
      • 8 a.m. - 4 pm PT or
      • 9 a.m. -5 pm PT
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • We’re a real business, built to last. We’ve proven our model in LA and became the largest independent funeral home in California in less than two years. We’re now going national. And plan to grow for years to come.
  • A serious employer for global teammates. We have years of experience running distributed teams. Same 1:1s, check-ins, and career paths as our U.S. team - same expectations, same opportunities.
  • People stay. Regrettable turnover is very low. Don't take our word for it - read our Glassdoor reviews.
  • Fair compensation with real upside. Base pay benchmarked globally. Top performers consistently earn the full bonuses.
  • High care, high standards. Real investment in training and growth, honest feedback, no burnout culture.

Join a team that’s transforming mental healthcare. Founded by psychiatrists, Headlight is more than a company: it’s a movement. A movement that exists on the front lines of the mental health crisis, transforming the way people access care and the way clinicians deliver it. In order to help people in their time of need and ensure that every person who comes to us has options, we are transparent about our capabilities, treatments, and coverage, we champion innovation, and we leverage our rich data to continuously implement better ways of delivering care. Our mission is simple but powerful: Improving lives, one session at a time.

Our highly skilled and principled clinical team enjoys autonomy and institutional support so they can put their focus where it should be: on improving patient outcomes. Our clinicians want to do more than help individual clients, so they work to affect the system as a whole, elevating standards of care so that their efforts reverberate far beyond what they could do in private practice.

As the most trusted behavioral health partner in the Western U.S., we’ve established deep relationships that give us unparalleled access, interoperability, and first-priority referrals. This exclusivity, combined with our best-in-class coordinated care and feedback loops, results in superior outcomes and cost savings.

Our services are convenient, accessible, and expert, combining personalized client engagement with advanced technology to enhance, not replace, human connection. Indeed, we hold that human-to-human relationships are indispensable, so from the match to the session to the time between sessions, we provide whole person care so nobody falls through the cracks and there is a brighter path forward for all.
